Happy New Year, Let's get high

Happy New Year my friends! I know my blog title for tonight is weird but Brett said something and I thought he said he forgot to bring the pot and he was like happy new year,let's get high just joking. This morning I left my sisters and came home. I started getting stuff ready for my new years eve party. I made a banner to hang up too. Dad, Grandpa and Jon cut wood all day and I helped them unload when they came back from their last trip. I got everything all set up for my party then relaxed for a little bit. Mike, Katie, and Russ got here around 7. Then we ate supper. Ashley got here and we concocted our plan for surprising Brett since we had been keeping it a secret from him. We put Katie's car in the other garage so that Brett wouldn't see it when he got here. He and Kaci walked in to Ashley and I sitting and talking. I asked Brett to get my chips and he was surprised to see them. Some of us played Monopoly while the rest of us played Just Dance. We munched on a bunch of snacks. We played pictionary man then watched the ball drop in New York City. One day I will be there. When I was a little kid I always said why would anyone want to be there when they can be with their families on New Years Eve. While this is still true, I just want to experience it once. It's number one on my bucket list. We played fish bowl which was pretty funny because Mike put in some name that most of us didn't know so it took us forever to guess it. Of course Rachel's mom was in there like always. Thanks Lauren and Sean for starting that one. We watched the ball drop at our time again and were quite obnoxious. Needless to say its one of the best new years I have ever had. Here's to another fantastic year which I think it will be, getting it to spend it with all my friends, hopefully going to Florida in March, Sports Camp in June, NYR in July, Leadership in January and so much more. I honestly didn't even get to look at today's bible reading. Yesterday's was Chron 13-16.Today's was Psa 1-2, 15, 22-24, 47, 68, 89, 96,100, 101, 105, 132. Well good night!

Review of 2011

2011 was a really good year for me! Here are 11 events for 2011 that stood out to me this year.
1.) I graduated  High School- I feel like this is important because it feels really good knowing you are finally done with something after 13 years. Even though it was rainy, it was still a great day with friends and family. I will definitely miss some of the people in my class. I was very blessed in the scholarships received too.

2.) Get accepted to UCM and going to college- I knew right away that UCM was where I wanted to go. I loved the campus and the photography program. I didn't apply any where else because I thought it was pointless when I got accepted to UCM. As time approached to move in day, I was very nervous, not knowing what it would be like away from home and not knowing any one. College was better then I imagined and I love it. I have a wonderful group of friends there.

3.) Becoming President of YAC- I always knew I loved Special Olympics from the time I went to my first event. When I got accepted into YAC, I was a little out of the loop because I tore my ACL that year so I couldn't make it to any meetings. However, everything changed when I went to Leadership last year. I absolutely loved the group and sharing the same passion as them. I haven't missed a meeting since. This year the group choose Justin and I as Co-presidents. I couldn't be more thrilled because this group had become my family and I never have a bad day with them.

4.)Winning SOMO Northeast Outstanding Volunteer- I have been involved with Special Olympics my whole life. This year when I went to leadership I found out that I had won and was nominated for the statewide award. Mandi was there and told me she was so excited and that it was hard not telling me before. I didn't even care if I didn't win the statewide one, I thought it was just an honor being nominated. Back home, it was put in the newspaper and my school honored me at halftime of a basketball game. I didn't win the state one but how can you compete with somone like Curt Yaeger who has donated so much of his time and raised so much money for SOMO.  I know all the other people in the category and I know they love SOMO just as much as me.

5.)Going to NYR- Every year I hear about people going to NYR but Elizabeth went last year and she talked Jacquelyn and I into going this year. The whole idea of camping in a tent for 10 days didn't sound like my ideal time. When I got there though, the tent part didn't even matter. I had such a blast being away from the outside world and getting to grow closer to God. I am planning on going back this summer.

6.)Turning 19- The thought of being 19 feels so weird to me. It's one away from 20 where you gain more responsibility and even closer to really being an adult. My 19th birthday however was a great time. My college friends surprised me 2 days before with a party. Then Ashley took me out to eat on my birthday and Jac and Liz came and meet us there. When I got home I had a party at my house with Ashley, Joey and Brett. I couldn't have asked for a better day.

7.) Becoming closer with my family- Being away from home really makes you miss the people you have had in your life everyday. Whenever I come home I feel more comfortable talking with my mom and dad. My sister and I talk a lot and I miss my niece and nephews so much.

8.) The death of my Grandpa Antal- Now I didn't say these were all good. My grandpa has had cancer for awhile now and his body finally couldn't take it any longer. Even though we miss him all the time, we know he is having such a great time with God in heaven right now. He isn't hurting anymore. I felt very blessed when it happened, my friends where calling me or texting me all the time to make sure I was doing good. Brett and Kaci came to the funeral and I got card signed by all my UCM friends which both made my day. It was nice to get to be around some of my family who I only see every so many years from Indiana.

9.) Moving into UCC with Katie- Ellis was not the dorm for me. It was too nice and crazy. When Katie asked me to move in, I was a little uncertain but I agreed. It was one of the best decisions I have made this year because I am so much happier there. Katie and I are two peas in a pod. Our room is like hang out central and its nice to be close to my friends who live there.

10.) Ringing in the New Year with Kaci, Brett, Ashley, Katie, Mike and Russ. I am usually pretty boring on New Year's but this year I decided to do something fun and have a little party. We have a great time and they are some of my best friends in the whole entire world.

Blonde again

This morning I got up and just enjoyed my morning. I watched some more Friends and made some mix cds since I have a working cd player. I did todays bible reading which I am not with my computer so I can't tell you for sure what it is. I cleaned my room up some and then got ready to head to my sisters. When I got there we played Just Dance 3. Then I showed them Zumba. We found something to eat. I made Ramen noodles and Zack made mashed potatoes. I kept giving hima hard time tonight,I'm sure he will be ready for me to leave in the morning.jk. We watched some tv and Jess started highlighting my hair. Pulling the hair through the cap was almost torture but I forgive her because the end result turned out great. I like the blondness and she even straightened it for me. I painted my finger and toe nails.I'm so excited for New Years eve tomorrow and to hang out with my friends. Now we are watching TLC before bed.Good night!

Walmart twice in one day

This morning I just lounged around for awhile which was really nice. I went to bed before 10 o clock last night. I don't even remember the last time that happened. I woke up in the middle of the night with a horrible dream. It was so awful I almost went and got Mom because it was bothering me but finally got back to sleep. Mom went and picked up my radio and I stayed home and did some laundry. I played my Zumba game that I got for Christmas. When Mom got back, I loaded her car vehicle with pop cans and we headed to Kirksville. We had a lot of cans but didn't get very much out of them unfortunately. Then we ran to Wal-Mart so I could get some food for New Year's Eve. When I got home I watched Glee in concert while painting my nails.  I did yesterday's bible reading. I haven't finished today's but it is 2 Sam 5:1-10; 1 Chron 11-12; Psa 133. I watched some more Friends then got ready and headed for Ashley's so we could go to eat in Kirksville. Her friend Sabina went with us. She's really funny and nice.  We ate at La Pachanga with Danielle, Meghan, Jessie and Whitney. After we got done eating, we talked for a while then left. We went to Wal- Mart and got a few things. I missed that store so much...not.Then we said goodbye to the others and came home. My daddy got my radio fixed for me so I can listen to cds now on my trips to and from the burg. Yay :). Well I am off here for the night. Good night!

No brown sign

It is early for me to be typing my blog but considering I don't know how many actual hours of sleep I got last night from waking up all the time,I am going to bed early. Elizabeth, Jac, Ashley and I got up this morning and left Elizabeth's house to head for Illinois to see Matt and Sarah. I brought my car home since they were going to pick up. Casen was here and mostly smiley. The others came and got me and we were on our way. We made it to Illinois with no problems but when we were trying to find the right rood to turn to their house we got a little lost. We finally made it. Matt kept telling us to look for a brown camp sign but we did not see one until we were driving the opposite way. Jada has gotten so big and even cuter. Sarah cooked pizza for us for lunch. We had a great time just talking and catching up. I have missed them so much. Jada took a nap while we talked some more then when she woke up we took a tour of the camp. we went into one of the buildings where Matt's office is/ gym hang out area. There is a rock wall on one side and Matt got it hooked up so we could go up it. It was alot of fun. It was funny because the gear was all set to fit little kids so we had to make the harness and straps just a tad bigger. After our tour we came back and said goodbye as we had to head home. We stopped at Dairy Queen in Carthage. When I got home, Dad was cooking ribs for supper yum! I haven't done today's bible reading which is 1 Chron 7-10; Psa 102-104. Yesterday's was 1 Chron 6; Psa 81, 88, 92-93. Well good night!

cheer sleepover

So last night I almost forgot about typing my blog but when I started to do it,my phone started acting up and froze so that's why there is a delay in blog. I awoke to Casen being here. Then Tennley got here before to long. I played with them most of the morning. I gave Maycee a bath. In the afternoon I took a little nap then watched Friends. I got my stuff ready and headed to the cheer sleepover at Liz's. Since I arrived first and Jac and Ashley came right after me. Liz and Ashley gave us their gifts.They were very cool.The other girls got there and we started the sleepover by watching Bring it On. Then we decided to go outside and build. Makaylas braces hit her gum and was bleeding so we took her home. When we got back, we built some more and ate supper. Then we played just dance for awhile. We put in the third Bring it on and fell asleep.It wasn't too long before Tara, Destinee, and Kara came in and weren't tired so they put in another movie and made their beds, waking us up in the process. From then on it was hard to sleep very long. I did get my bible reading done for the day but I don't know what it was at the moment.Well until tomorrow.

Last Christmas

Mom and I got up this morning and went shopping in Kirksville. We both found some clothes we liked at Jcpenneys then went to Wal Mart. There weren't really any amazing after Christmas offers. We got what we needed. Brett and Dillon just happened to be in Wal Mart so I talked to them for a few minutes. We got there after them and left before them lol. We grabbed some Subway for lunch and came home just in time for my skype date with the roomie. Katie and I talked for an hour before we hung up and then I skyped with Ashley for an hour. After hanging up with her I helped mop the floors and then caught up on bible reading. Today's was 1 Chron 3-5, Psa 73, 77-78. Grandpa came over and then my brother and sister arrived. We had a delicious supper and then opened presents. I got some money and Glee Concert Dvd :). I am so excited, I got paid for babysitting so now I have some money towards my Florida trip. Every time I see a picture it makes me want to be there more and more. I think everyone enjoyed their gifts. I got Casen a UCM shirt and its so cute. We spent the rest of the evening hanging out and watching the munchkins play with their toys. It's our last Christmas until next year. Well I am going to go be addicted to pinterest until I go to bed. Good night!

Happy Birthday Jesus

Merry Christmas and happy birthday to Jesus!This morning we got up and opened presents then went in to Jon and Lyndsi's for brunch. I got some cool camera additions like a timer. I also got a black dress jacket that I had been wanting and needing. Casen got a tool bench and he just loves it. He entertained us with it. We came home and I fell asleep in my room.  Mom cooked a ham for us and we ate lupper about 3. The best part of food on Christmas is the miscellaneous finger food/We watched Santa Clause 3 and then Home Alone 2. Now I am enjoying the rest of my Christmas watching the Help. Today was no where near as eventful as it was 2011 years ago when God gave us the best gift we could ever ask for. It was a pretty quiet day, we didn't do a whole lot.This week should be pretty good, with Christmas with my siblings at our house tomorrow night.Today's bible reading was Chron 1-2, Psa 43-45, 49, 84, 85,87. I haven't done it yet and will hopefully catch up today or tomorrow. Well until tomorrow!

Simply having a wonderful Christmas time

Merry Christmas eve!I started out my day a little rough when I woke up in the middle of the night not able to swallow or talk or anything because my throat was clogged. I ended up having a sore throat most of the day. I drink so much juice today and did everything I could to make sure it didn't develop into anything. When I got up I wrapped presents most of the morning while watching Abc family. I watched more movies after I got done then took a nap. After my nap i painted my nails then dipped them in glitter so that they were red and green. We got ready and headed down to my Grandma's for Christmas eve. We ate food and sat around talking. After everyone finished eating we opened presents. Before we opened them Grandma reviewed how Christmas got started. While she was talking, Tim hit his head on the wall then the table that Kylie was sitting on break underneath her. When it broke we all thought that someone was lighting fireworks off outside. Grandma opened the first gift which was a singing monkey that her children got her since we always used to get Grandpa one every year. Joey had my name this year. He gave me some money and the Help :). I am so excited to watch it and the money will be put towards my Florida trip which hopefully I will get to go on. Cindy opened her picture of Joey that I took and loved it. Grandma also loved her frame that had a picture of all the kids,grand kids and great grandkids in it. When everyone was done opening their gifts we gave Grandma her kindle. She was so happy and started to cry a little. The kids busted out their toys and started playing. Some of the adults played Bible Scategories. The team of Dad, Mom and I won. Then we came home. It was probably one of the best Christmases I have spent at my Grandma's. Everyone was smiling and laughing. Little Randy got a Spider man mask and decided I was Dr. Octopus. So we battled and he ended up losing when I held him upside down. Joey got an ipod from his parents for Christmas and was playing with it tonight. I kept trying to get him signed onto Facebook so I could hack him but he would always log out before he gave it to me so finally when he was messing around on Facebook. I took it and ran to the bathroom since I knew I could lock the door there. I made it in and almost had it locked before he busted in and took it back. So close, just to many road blocks between me and the bathroom. Now we are back home, watching random Christmas shoes before bed.I didn't get to today's bible reading which was 2 Sam 1-4; Psa 6, 8-10, 14, 16, 19, 21.Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night! :)

Free ice cream?

It has definitely been a Friday,mostly all good :). Last night I didn't end up getting to bed till after 1 which is late when I have been going to bed earlier. This morning Mom and I got up and went to Ottumwa. We went to the mall to finish Christmas shopping then we went to Burger King. We seriously have the worst luck when it comes to eating out at Ottumwa and today was no exception. We waited for our food and then we the numbers got further and further away we said something. Turns out they had lost our ticket and not fixed our order. When they finally fixed it, Mom asked for free ice cream for the wait. We went and ate our food, not really worried about it anymore. The manager came over and told us before we left to come up and get some ice cream. Even though I didn't have much room I got a strawberry sundae because I wasn't passing up this opportunity. We went to Walmart and got some more stuff. We finished our trip in Ottumwa stopping at Target. We stopped at Dollar General in Bloomfield and then came home. I cleaned up my room some and then caught up on my bible reading today's was Psalm 18; 1 Sam 28-31; Psa 121;123-125; 128-130. After supper Brett and Kaci came over. We exchanged gifts with each other. They gave me a really cute wall hanging that I can't wait to put up in my dorm room. Then we played pictionary man. We learned that we are not good artists or good at guessing either. We watched the polar express after wards since Kaci had never seen it. I don't know if I can ever look at the movie the same way again we started talking for the people towards the end. When the boy leaves to go home he says goodbye to the girl and I said referring to the boy saying to the girl "Im going to marry you someday." Kaci thought I told Brett that and was like what. Then Brett said he wanted my rust brown red barn so we decided he was only marrying me to get my barn then killing me off. Then Brett said the girl and boy on the movie where like a little black and white love sandwich. He's like what you've never seen a black and white love sandwich before? We were like yeah Mike and Katie? Then he was like o ya I forget you guys see it everyday. lol.We then proceeded to take a bunch of random pictures. I laughed so hard and had a great time with them tonight. I forgot to mention in yesterdays blog that during spoons yesterday Brett through one upstairs so when ever we all went for them next time he sprinted up the stairs after it. Needless to say no one was chasing after him. Well thats just a few of the random things we said tonight. I am going to bed now since tomorrow is Christmas Eve and lots to do. Good night!

Why is Santa really fat?

I almost consider today my first real day of break because I didn't have to get up early to babysit and the whole first week I was home was spent at my Grandma's house or doing things for the funeral. It doesn't seem like I have been home for 2 weeks because I have been so busy but at the same time it does because I miss my college friends alot. I never knew what people meant when they say your college friends last forever until I was away from mine for awhile but I have also learned that people are wrong when they say you lose your high school friends because I love my new friends and my old friends all the same. When some of my old class mates and I were talking a while back, I told them how I wasn't willing to suddenly stop being friends with people I had hung out with for 13 years. Gentry said she thought it was easier because we came from a small school and got to know each other so well. After getting to spend some time with my friends at home, I realize I am not going to let that happen either. When I am 80 years old I still want to know my friends just as well as I do now. Casen came here today and Mom watched him. Tennley also came over so we had 2 children. After getting up and ready I went to Memphis to get my license. I walked in the lady took my social security number,printed me a new one and I was back out the door. Since I told her it was gone, she didn't make take the road test or vision test. Even though I still have to go back and get my complete license sometime that was an answer to prayer. I played with the babies for awhile. I took a little nap. Jeremiah came and got Tennley and I got ready for Danielle's christmas party. Taylor ended up driving Ashley's mom's van and Jac, Brett, Nick and I all went with. I had such a great evening. We played dutch splits( a card game), spoons(which I am still the reigning champ at jsyk) and balderdash. When we were playing balderdash Danielle's mom had to leave to go pick up one of her brothers for a minute and told Danielle's little brothers to stay out of her room because she was wrapping presents in there. Brett's like ya Santas in there and if you go in he will eat you because that's why he's fat. He doesn't eat cookies for Christmas. Poor Kids. Reminds me of Katie and Mike writing no santa on my car. Thank goodness there aren't little children on campus to see my car and think I hate Santa. We ate a bunch of delicious not good for you food and played couch. If you have never played, the object is try to get 4 of your team members on the couch by calling the right name. You switch names every time you move and there is always 1 empty spot that the person who is called moves too. Sounds confusing but you get it after awhile. We played North Shelby vs not North Shelby. My team won both times. Then we played girls vs boys and the girls lost :(. We took a group picture then unfortunately had to go. We sang Christmas songs most of the way back. Brett tried to make my ears bleed by playing Justin Bieber. That's almost as bad as red solo cup. On a scale of bad to worse- Justin Bieber>red solo cup>Rebecca black.Now I am home and finishing this blog before I go to bed. Today's bible reading which I didn't even get a chance to look at was 1 Samuel 25-27; Psa 17, 35, 54, 63. Well good night!

Can't get anything done

I can't believe how quickly Christmas is approaching. I feel like my evenings keep filling up and I still have a mound of things to get done before Saturday and Sunday. Today was the last day I watched Casen at his house. He played really good all day minus a few squeals. He took a long nap again in the afternoon. I caught up on Glee today and the Christmas episode almost made me cry,it was so good! Rory is supposed to read Frosty the Snowman in the episode but instead he reads the story of Jesus's birth and reminds the Glee club of the real reason for Christmas. I love that Glee did that! Casen laid on my lap for a little bit and we watched Muppets Christmas. I cut up an apple for snack and he kept bringing me a piece and then him a piece to eat. Priceless moments with my nephew. Jon got home from work and I headed home. I stopped to get gas and then went home and watch Friends. Katie if you read this, I am suffering from lack of Friends since we watch it all the time in our dorm room. I ordered pizza for supper but no one else would go get it so I went and got a taco pizza. Steph brought Tennley over but I didn't get to enjoy her to much because Dad and I split wood and Jeremiah came and got her before we were done. I am quite tired from splitting wood tonight. I came in and started wrapping presents. I almost finished but I will do the rest tomorrow. Scout laid in here all night but she isn't much help,she mostly just sleeps. When I was outside Ben and Cocoa sat on my lap and ate my hood string until I had to get up. Today's bible reading Psalms 7, 27, 31, 34, 52, 56, 120,
140-142. I haven't done it yet but I am hopefully going to get to it pretty soon. Well I have several things to do before I go to bed. Casen is coming here tomorrow so Mom can watch him since I have to go get a new license since it is with my lost keys and then will have to leave for Danielle's christmas party before Jon or Lyndsi would get home. Well good night! By the way Sherry did make it home from the nursing home. I could also use prayer because when I go get my new license I have to take the eye exam and I forgot my contacts at school so I won't have them. I only wear my contacts if I need them to see if school so that's why I don't wear them all the time.

What the cookies, you think parents eat those to?

This morning I went and took care of Casen again. He was pretty good today, a little onry(sp?) but still good.We went to school and visited Mom for an hour. He was quiet for a while like he is whenever he doesn't know people but then finally broke out of his shell and started talking. He was being a aunt's boy today which doesn't bother me any because he's usually not so when he actually picks me for one day makes me feel good :). We went down and say the preschool. Jace and Jarrett where in there so they were automatically trying to get his attention. He found the train track so he was content. I let him play for a few minutes but then took him home. He must of been tired because as soon as we got to the car he was out and slept all afternoon. I was tired too because I slept almost the whole time he did. When he got up, he played until Lyndsi got home. I came home and sat and watched tv for a little bit then Mom and left to go to Queen City. Gentry and I were going to watch Elf and Mom had a staff dinner. Gentry and I ate some frozen pizzas then quoted the entire movie of Elf. Its probably a good thing it was just us because anybody else would have been highly annoyed with it. When it got over, I picked Mom and we came home. I worked on some things and finished catching up on bible reading. Today's was 1 Samuel 18-24, Psalms 11 and 59. In 1 Samuel, it talks about the life of David and Saul alot which is what we spent the whole first semester in CCH talking about so most of it is review for me. Well I am off to bed. Good night!

The Adventures of shopping with Dad

Relient K's song Manic Monday is the soundtrack to my life sometimes. This monday seemed just fine and then this evening has been a little crazy. I am officially hanging up my planning towel until January. We tried to plan a sleepover with my friends but it's hard to align 6 girls schedules. I got to sleep in a little compared to the time I usually have to be up to watch Casen. He played great all morning and took a long nap this afternoon. We watched Christmas movies all morning. After nap, I brought him back to our house since I was going to be watching him later today.Mom and Dad got home and he was a little fussy with them. Casen has decided that he likes to hurl himself at me randomly. I will be sitting on the floor and he will jump off the couch at me so I have to always make sure I am paying attention to catch him. Jon came and picked up Casen then Dad and I headed for Kirksville. We stopped at school to get something from Mom but she had already headed home so we had to meet her then finally got on our way. My dad is a very interesting shopper like most dads. Then when we finally check out,he throws everything onto the register and I have to tell him groceries first then other items. We made it back home though with everything we set out for. I am almost caught up on reading. Today's was 1 Samuel 13-17. I made it to chapter 15.  When we got home we gave Mom one of her presents early because it was light up Christmas angel for outside. Well I am off to bed because I have to be up earlier then today.Good night!

Shalom

I have mentioned Shalom before in blogs but I am going to bring it up again tonight. This evening, Mom, Grandma, Zack, Zoe and I went to the Journey to Bethlehem in Memphis. You start off driving from the square to a location a few miles away while the leader tells you about your journey. You are given your papers and a shekel and start the journey. You encounter Romans, thieves, beggers and other people. As we approach people, we say Shalom every time. Shalom which is a greeting is also meant for peace. This word has taken on a whole new meaning this year. As we walked to the manger where we see Jesus after he was just born., the shalom there and the shalom felt by most of Bethlehem was just incredible. This morning as church Grandma talked about how we think of Jesus when he is a baby but we don't really think about the fact that he grew up like any other child which is kind of like how when we accept Christ we sometimes leave it as that. We need to let him mature in our hearts just like he matured as a child. I am regrettably falling behind on my bible reading. I read most of yesterdays but haven't finished it. I will catch up on all tomorrow while Casen naps. I love reading about Ruth because she is a great example for women everywhere. Today's reading was 1 Samuel 4-12. Today was also my parent's 29th anniversary. After church Dad cooked us steak. Then I worked on some things till 3. I caught the last quarter of the Chiefs game which they beat the undefeated packers! I went over to my sister's house after the game. I helped her and the kids make peppermint fudge then brought the kids back after Journey to Bethlehem. I came home and worked on some more things while watching I'll be home for Christmas and Santa Clause 2. I am going to go to bed soon so good night!

Thus I'm an internet shopper

This morning I couldn't have been more excited to get up and go to Jeff City to see my YAC family. We always have a great time when we are together. This meeting was one of the first meetings when we have had most all the members there, usually some people have other school functions. We played signs. Then we ate some food brought in by every one. Then we discussed stuff on the agenda like spread the word and different activities through out the year and leadership conference which I can't wait for! We did a get in to it activity.I still want to get an SO college program started at UCM but Trish said she has some contact info to help me get started. We played a Christmas game which was really cute because it was a story about Santa and an elf named lefty. Every time the story said lefty or left you had to pass the present left and vice versa for right. Haley and Emily ended up with the presents in the end. We took some group pictures outside then cleaned up,said our goodbyes and left. Mom and I went shopping in Columbia afterwards. We went to Michaels,to the mall and then headed for home. Columbia was just a little to crowded for us. We stopped at Walmart in Kirksville then came home. I had a very good day. I learned that there is a reason on shop on the internet and not in the store because people are crazy. Soo many people in the stores and they only care about 1 thing ,themselves.Today's bible reading is Ruth 1-4 and 1 Samuel 1-3. I didn't get todays done since I have been gone and I am going to bed soon but I will catch up tomorrow. Please continue to pray for Robin Anderson's nephew, Evan who had tumor in his brain and he is only 3.They were able to remove much of it in surgery so now its just the waiting game to see where they go from there. Also pray for Tennley as she has a fever tonight and those who are getting the stomach flu since it is unfortunately going around. Many of my Truman friends have it. Well good night!

Buddy the elf,what's your favorite color?

This morning I went and took care of Casen again. He was mostly in a good mood except for one little out burst in the morning and then after Jon got home in the evening he was cranky. Casen and I watched Elf this morning. One of my favorite Christmas movies. After lunch Casen took a nap. He took another long one today but I resisted a nap myself so that I could go to sleep tonight and not be wide awake. I texted Katie a ton of quotes from Elf and then she texted me a bunch of song lyrics. We poked each other at least 40 times today too lol. I guess I do miss my roommate some. hehe. Casen did something that I found pretty funny today and I'm sure he will love it when I tell him when he's 18 not. When he comes to our house we have to watch and make sure he doesn't flush anything down the toilet if he goes into the bathroom. Today he ran into the bathroom and before I could catch him I heard the lid go down. I walked in and his hairbrush was wet and he was brushing his hair. Don't worry, I washed his hair brush and his hair but I thought it was pretty funny. Dad said its my equivalent to playing in our dog that we used to have's house. I used to clean Hector's house out when I was little,that is it. After Lyndsi got home, I left.Casen did give me a kiss today. I started supper and Mom kind of finished it when she got home. After supper, we watched Christmas with the Kranks while I worked on some Christmas cards. When it was over I did my bible reading and yesterday's. I learned that left handers where amazing shooters with their rock and slings so I had to tell Dad about God talking about left handed people since he always makes fun of me for being one. Today's reading was Judges 16-21. Now I am blogging before I go to bed since I have YAC in Jeff City tomorrow :D. I'm so excited, I have definitely missed them. Well good night!

Cold weed rat is the worst

Today was a wonderful Thursday and so much needed. I got up and went and took care of Casen. He was pretty good today. He slept in later and played all morning when he got up.  This afternoon he played in his crib for a while but slept from 1 to 4:30. I hope that means he was in a great mood for the rest of the evening. I have read everyday this week while Casen has napped but today I took a nap too. Tyler called me on mom's phone about 1:45 and was actually talkative today but I wasn't so I didn't chat to long. When I got off the phone, I went back to sleep till 3:30. The nap was great! Casen got up and played until Lyndsi got home and then I left. No kiss today. He just said bye bye and ran away. I went to Amy's and we left to go get Jac and Ashley to head to Kirksville. We went to our usual place, China Palace, always so good then walked to the movie theater. Jac gave me my birthday present which was two shirts from Aeropostle. They were both really cute and one had a camera on it! While at China Palace I got some chicken on a stick. We were joking that it looked like weed rat from Shrek and then I said mine weed rat was cold and Amy said that cold weed rat was the worst. We went and saw New Year's Eve and it was great! It had a ton of well known celebrities in it like Ashton Kutcher and Zac Efron. I pretty sure Lea Michele's version of Auld Lang Syne is my new favorite! After it was over we took some pictures like we always do and then left to come home. It was so great to be with my best friends again. It's hard only getting to see some of them once or twice a semester. Today's bible reading is Judges 10-15 which I am going to have to read tomorrow since it's already almost 11. Well good night!

La la la loopy

This morning I got up and went to go take care of Casen for the third day in a row. He wasn't as smiley today as usual and he was a little loopy. He would walk into the living room and sping in a circle for a few minutes or he would stand on the footstool of the chair and randomly jump at me but always cute. He didn't take a very long nap which was probably problamatic later. When he is ready to get up, he makes sure you know it. I didn't get in there fast enough and he had already gotten himself out. When Jon got home from work, I left and Casen followed me out the door like yesterday and gave me a kiss. I will turn him into Auntie's boy yet. I got home and finished a Christmas movie that I hadn't seen the end of yet. Mom wasn't feeling well so she came home early. Since I was home before 5 I decided to cook supper tonight. I made Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo and did a pretty good job if I do say so myself. Then I did the dishes. I helped Dad work on my car some in the shed then came back in a played Just Dance 3 for a little bit. I put in Jingle all the way and started working on Christmas cards. Speaking of cards I got a sympathy one from all my college friends today in the mail about my Grandpa. I love them! They all wrote little notes that made me smile in it too. Dad got my cd player in my car to work. He said all he did was put a cd in but the cd player hadn't worked since we bought the car so I don't know how he got it to work. Today's bible reading is Judges 6-9. I will probably get it done when I get done blogging. I got my grades online today and I finished my first semester of college with a 4.0 :D. My pinterest addiction increased rapidly today. It's going to be hard staying away now. Well good night!

Feels like home to me

Day 2 of watching my wonderful youngest nephew. He's all smiles for me. We played all morning then he napped in the afternoon while I read the five love languages. I am only half way through and I love it! Casen started fussing around three so I went in and picked up and brought him to the living room. He laid on my shoulder for about 15 minutes then I decided to put him back in his crib since he still seemed tired. He slept for a few minutes but then was awake for real this time. We played until Lyndsi got home from work. I started out the door and he followed after me. He wouldn't give me a kiss when I told him by earlier but this time he came to the door to blow me a kiss. Love that little boy and getting to spend everyday with him. I came home for a little bit and then went to school for the basketball game. They were playing North Shelby so I got to see Sarah and Deanna. I wasn't sure where I was going to sit but I saw Tara so I went and sat by here. The girls won by 15 and played a good game. Several people that graduated in my class where there and we kind had a lame graduate student section going on for a little bit. Lesa was there so I talked to her some. Somehow no offense to any North Shelby people out there but the boys got better this year. We were winning at half time. Brett and Dillon showed up. They didn't like it on the Schuyler side so I went and sat with them in the middle on the other side where no one was sitting. The second half was much more intense and Schuyler didn't play as good. Joey made a 3 in the last 30 sec to tie it but someone from Schuyler fouled and then there was a technical so North Shelby won. I am sure the Rams will get you next time.  I said goodbye to Brett, Dillon and Ashley and came home. I stopped and got gas. Now I am blogging before I do today's reading Judges 1-5. I am so happy to be moving through the beginning of the old testament because some places of it are a little dry. Well good night!

Don't turn your back

Today I started taking care of Casen during the day while Jon and Lyndsi are at work. He is was in a pretty good mood like he usually is. I heard him making noise in his room so I thought he was just getting some toys. Nope, I walk in there and he has every single diaper that was in the diaper genie in his crib. O Casen. We watched Disney movies all day long while playing with toys. He sat on my lap and watched a little bit of a movie. The power went out for a bit but that didn't slow him down any. Mom came by when she got done at school and watched him for a half hour so that I could go to Brett's basketball game. Brett gave me directions but I wasn't sure if I was at the right house so I called him and was like I don't see your car so I don't know if I am here,he's like I already left but you are. I then rode with Kaci and her parents to the games. As soon as we got there Brett was trying to get rid of my Schuyler coat. The girls and the boys lost to Wayne County. I cheered for Brett and Dillon but couldn't allow myself to cheer much for the team since I don't want people to think I like the midgets :P. I was such a good fan that I even wore a blue shirt. When the game was over we waited on Brett to come out then got in Dillon's car. We went to Casey's and Brett's parents were there. I was going to ride back with them since Kaci and them were going to go back to Dillons house and I didn't want to stay out late but when we got away from Casey's Brett was calling me and told he to tell his mom to pull over. They decided going back to the Tade's house so they wanted me to ride with them.lol. When we got back and talked with them for a minute then headed home. Side note: I got 2 hugs from Brett today, a very rare thing to even get one :P. Well I am going to do my reading which is Joshua 19-24. Good night!

So long

Well its the day after and everyone is home now. I'm praying for Grandma as the family is gone and she has her first time to be alone since the whole thing happened. This morning we went to church. Julie,Mary and Tim were all still here this morning. I held Tennley all through church and she did pretty good. After church Mom, Dad and I went to Wal-Mart to get some groceries. We got some Subway for lupper(lunch/supper since it was 3pm) and then came home. I went to Ashley's after we got back to help her on some College Algebra but I soon found out that I forgot a lot since I took the class last year. The sort of sad thing is I am done with math and will never have another math class so by the time I have children in the future I probably won't remember much to tell them if they need help. We talked for a little bit, then I came home. I did yesterday's bible reading and today's which today was Joshua 12-18. At 8 Katie and I had a skype date. Now I am watching Santa Clause is coming to town and probably going to go to bed soon since I start watching Casen tomorrow. This day seemed to go so fast. Well good night!

Grandpa's Dash

This morning when I got up, my mom made pancakes. Casen stayed last night so he was of course wide awake when I got up. Jon and Lyndsi came and got him then I watched Snow Day. After it was over I got ready for the funeral. We got to the funeral home about 12:30 and people started showing up for visitation. Kaci and Brett came and stayed for the funeral. God definitely blessed me with them as friends,yes even Brett hehe. I managed to not cry until the funeral was over when Zoe started crying. She and Zack kept me laughing before. Their thoughts on Grandpa being cremated were interesting.Then Zoe sat on my lap during the funeral and kept blowing her nose. I couldn't figure out where she was putting the kleenexs but she had the bottom of her pants flipped up and was stuffing them in there lol.  The funeral was very nice. We sang Jesus is the sweetest name I know which Grandpa always wanted us to sing every Sunday at church so I am glad we got to sing it for him one last time. After it was over I said goodbye to Brett and Kaci. Then I came back to Grandma's where everyone was and we ate a bunch of food. The apple pie was very good if I may add. Thanks to everyone who came to the visitation/funeral and to those who came/brought food to Grandma's. The family talked and visited for a while. It was nice to be with family from Indiana who we hadn't got to see in a long time. It was a long day but yet it seems like it was. I am tired and won't be staying up real late tonight which is why I am blogging now. We just got home less then an hour ago. Brett had a Christmas concert tonight but I wasn't able to make it. Tonight's blog title is because they put the Dash poem in the papers they give you at funerals and Brother Johnson that talked at Grandpa's funeral about Grandpa's dash and how he lived it. The dash for those of you who have never read the poem is the time in between birth and death and how you spend it. I think Grandpa spent his dash very well. He will be missed but his new life in heaven is way better. Well until tomorrow! I forgot todays bible reading is Joshua 5-11 which I might not get done today but will finish tomorrow.

Here,there and everywhere

This morning when I got up I went out to the living room only to fall back to sleep as mom went back to bed and I was laying on the couch still tired. I didn't sleep very long and got up and watched t.v. for a little bit. I went to my room to try and get some things done. Dad asked me to go out and help him split wood for a little bit and then he needed me to push the clutch in his truck while he worked on it. As soon as I got back in Mom had me hang up her flags outside. I put up some more Christmas lights in my room, dusted and sorted through my dvds. I looked through the photo albums for pictures of Grandpa for the photo boards for the funeral. I called Ellen and talked to her for a bit and then got ready and went down to Grandma's. Jess had some pictures and food that she needed someone to get so Damian and I went over to get them. A 30 min trip took over an hour because Damian and I stopped at the Village MArket to look for her coffee filters and when we couldn't find them we bought gummy worms instead. Then we got to Jess's house and she had me run to Dollar General where I found the coffee filters. After visiting with her and the kids for a few minutes, Damian and I came back. Jon, Lyndsi and Casen came over to Grandma's and  hung out. After a while I came home for a little bit, printed off a bigger picture of Grandpa for the funeral,did a little bit of bible reading. The reading for today is Deuteronomy 32-34,Psalms 91, Joshua 1-4. I am going to finish it when I get done blogging. I went back down to Grandma's. Julie,Mary and Duane had arrived so I saw them for awhile. Tim and I got to work on the photo boards and then I came home so that I could get everything done here before tomorrow.Random fact of the day: I probably went outside 10 times today and almost every time had a different pair of shoes on. Happy Birthday to my friend Robb by the way. I know him through SOMO and he has been there to talk to if I have needed him through this whole thing. Tomorrow will be a tough day but we will make it through.Good night!

It's a new day

This morning I woke up in a much better mood then I was in last night. I couldn't sleep so I was up late and slept in later. When I got up to go to Grandma's, Jon brought Casen over. He cried for a long time after Jon left and I finally put him in his bed here and he slept for a couple hours. We went down to Grandma's and hung out with the family. Kylie had to leave to go to work so I took over doing the laundry. Some how a mouse died in between the blankets that we use upstairs. I tried to convince Damian that he squished it but no go. At least now the blankets are clear of mice. Some of the family spent the afternoon making calls to far away family members on Grandpa's side.The visitation is scheduled for 1pm Saturday and the memorial is scheduled for 2pm. There won't be any open casket because Grandpa wanted to be cremated. I went home around supper time so that I could eat then go with Mom and Dad to Zoe's Christmas concert. She did a good job. I rode back over with Jess and it started snowing. When I got home I put in Unaccompanied Minors and ate some cookie dough. I started reading my bible reading for the day which is Deuteronomy 28-31. I am going to finish reading soon. I have Knight and Day on for background noise. It's crazy to think my first semester of college is over.  It went by so quick. Heaven is much better

It's hard to know what to say right now. I mean I am of course overwhelmed of this whole week, not just the day. I can't say that when I woke up this morning I planned on coming home to my grandfather being gone out of my life,not when i had just seen him 9 days earlier during Thanksgiving break.Everything leading up to this event today seems unimportant. I went to my last class and came home bam winter break begins. I really hoped all week that I would make it home to say my goodbyes to my grandpa. When I showed up to the hospital after hearing the news before I got there, I didn't even recognize the man I call grandpa. I am a cry baby,always have been,unfortunately probably always will be so of course I was crying before I even got to the hospital. I know my grandpa is in so much of a better place now that that part excites me but there is that part of me that wants to be selfish and have him back here right now with us-the grandpa we all know and love,the one who is sitting in his chair every holiday with Tim's dog,Tobi, and who got dancing animals as a present for at least a couple Christmases. There was time when we wasn't sick and things were really good. I thank God that he let me know my Grandpa for 19 years. All I can say is thank you so much friends and family for all your thoughts and prayers,we will definitely use them these next few days. Moving on will be hard but thats why God will be there to help us every step of the way.

So many sugar cookies

This morning I awoke to an excited roommate because it was snowing outside, me not having a final till 11 figured I could be excited about the snow when I got up later. I got up a little while later and the ground was covered so I was excited then. I talked to my momma and then studied for a little while. Everyone was called in at 3am when they thought things were getting bad.  So far no everyone's been spending most of their time at the hospital.  Tomorrow I will be home and then I can be with them. At 11 I went and took my psychology final. It took about a half hour and didn't seem to bad. Since I got done earlier then planned I went and returned my psych book. It only took like 5 minutes instead of 40 like yesterday. I went back to the room and watched some criminal minds and ate some mac and cheese. My small group was meeting at 12:30 so I went and discussed the final chapter from our book. I highly recommend The Reason for God to anyone or I will be glad to let you borrow it. It definitely makes you think and gives you a perspective from why non believers have trouble believing in God but then tells why their reasons are inaccurate. We watched Despicable Me after talking. When I got back, Katie had the floor all vacuumed so I did a few dishes and then cleaned up some. Russ and Kaci came over and we watched Blades of Glory-love Jon Heder and Will Ferrell together. I was going to take a nap when they left but I couldn't fall asleep so I just ended up watching t.v. till supper. At 6, we went and ate at Todd. They had amazing sugar cookies tonight and sadly I love sugar cookies so it was hard to control myself lol. We came back and watched Glee and New Girl in my room. Then some of my friends went to late night but I stayed here since I didn't feel like eating again hehe. I went and got my suitcase and started packing some. Most of it I will do tomorrow since I don't have class till 2. Because we have to go to Ideas and Visual Arts tomorrow to do evaluations before we can leave, I have to stay here until we get done tomorrow. I did my bible reading for today which was Deuteronomy 14-20 and then I didn't know how much time I would to actually be able to read tomorrow so I read tomorrow's too. Well I don't have much else to do so I am probably going to lay in bed watching FRIENDS for awhile. Good night! p.s. still no keys today

Is it break yet?

So I was definitely in a much better mood today for the most part then yesterday. This morning I got up earlyish and headed over to the Union to sell my books back. This is when I got to experience another fun part of college. I went and got a new id before then waited in line. There were 8  lines going and each was as long as the other, going from one side of the ballroom out the door. After about 40 minutes I made it the front,got my money and got out of there. I needed a scantron and wanted to get Casen a ucm shirt for Christmas so I went downstairs to the bookstore. After looking around I found one I like for him,got my scantron and was back to my room. When I got back I took my LIS final. We were given an hour online to take it, took me about 12 minutes. It was very easy and got a 100% on it :). I have one final left to go tomorrow:Psychology :/. I watched tv for a little while and then Katie and I went to lunch. We had a great conversation at lunch today. Morgan, Sean and I were laughing so hard we were about to cry. I came back and got started on studying. I studied until about 3:30 when I decided it was time for a break so I watched FRIENDS for a little bit. Liz came in and Qhung out for a bit until she had to leave. I studied some more. I went and ate supper with my friends. When we were coming back, we went to the basement of Hudson and hung out for awhile. We were not technically in the dorm and we were away were no one could here us. After hanging out for awhile I decided to leave and study some more.. I watched the polar express in between. After I finish blogging I am going to do my bible reading for today which is Deuteronomy 8-13. I forgot to mention in yesterdays blog but I got into the photography class I wanted. I know have class on Friday but at least I won't be behind the others and have to wait until next year to take it. I am still happy though that I will be able to be out of here by 10 on Fridays when I go home. Well Grandpa is doing about the same and I still haven't found my keys. Our family can continue to use your prayers. After reading Heaven Is for Real and the minister talking about all the bad things happening to him but in the end he gets something amazing out of it, I realize that these things that are bad happening are because God's going to break something amazing at the end of it. His plans always come out great. 2 days and I will be home. I feel like I should be going home tomorrow but not yet. Well good night!

I honestly don't know how people can live without God in their lives.I am pretty sure there is no one I could have survived this week with my sanity in tact if it wasn't for him. I know that there are worse things in life but to me this was just an emotional overload. This morning Kaci, Russ, Katie, Mike and I got up and went to church. It was an amazing service in my opinion. I loved the music and the sermon. After church the student minister came up to us and asked us if he could take us out for lunch. Us being college students and getting sick of dining hall food of course agreed. He told us to decide where when he got back. We all started scrambling making sure we had money. He said the Copper Coyote was good so we went there. I was just thinking about Mexican food so it was perfect. He all tried to be cheap but then he payed for us all which was sooo thoughtful. We had a great lunch with him and his wife, another guy Bo, and Justin. It was truly a blessing. Mom texted me and told me Grandpa was not doing well still and everyone was at the hospital. I made it till we got back, then I let lose. I really wish I could be there right now with my family. At least I will be home in 3 days. I was going to do my bible reading but fell asleep. It's probably a good thing I took a nap though since I was so emotionally drained. When I got up I finished my bible reading which was Deuteronomy 3-7. I also watched a dog named Christmas on Hallmark. I definitely recommend it to anyone. Morgan and Lauren were downstairs baking Nora's cake so I went to see how they were progressing. They were done when I got there with a great nyan cat cake. We went and ate at Ellis. Then we went over to Yaeter and decorated for Nora's party and did a pretty good job if I may add. Sean drew on a balloon and drew a bunch of animals,one said poisonous platypus or smething like that and we thought it said PoisRus. Sean's like come by your poisonous animals at PoisRus.  Nora and Jaffar walked in and we surprised her. After celebrating we came back to UCC. Katie went to a movie with Molly for her birthday so I was locked out and had to use my first and only free lock out. After getting in, I called Sherry.She was doing alright. She would like to be home right now if she could but is still recovering from surgery. Then I called Mom and talked to her for a while. I think it was good for both of us to talk on the phone. It kind of lightened the mood some. My family could still continue to use your prayers though. We aren't sure how much time Grandpa has left. I hope that he can hold on till I get home. I think God for amazing friends and family who are there when you need them. My awesome roommate prayed for me when I was trying to keep composure and God gave her the exact right words to say. After talking to my mom, I felt like I needed to cheer myself up so I watched one of my favorite Christmas movies- Rudolf the red nosed reindeer! I studied for my LIS final some and now I am blogging before I go to bed. I am going to try and go to bed earlyish since I am getting up earlier to go to the Union return books and get a new idea. I am not giving hope that my keys will show up! god is taking care of everything. Now for a peaceful night's sleep and for me not to keep stressing. Good night!

Running through the foundations

Another day goes by that my keys are still missing but I'm not giving up hope because I know God is going to help me find them before I go home Wednesday. Anyway this we all slept in till about 11 even though we didn't stay up really late. Then Morgan and Nora came downstairs and wanted to go eat so we got sort of ready and went and ate at Todd.Since my id is still gone too I have been using friends meals off their card. After we ate we got our stuff rounded together and went back to UCC. After getting ready for real this time.Then Katie and I watched a bunch of christmas movies on hallmark. I did my bible reading for today which was Numbers 35-36 and Deutoronmy(sp?) 1-2.I straightened Katie's hair after but it didn't do any good since it was pouring outside. We then went and at Todd. Morgan,Lauren M,Liz, Russ and I piled into on vehicle then Nora,Jaffar,Katie and Mike went in another vehicle. We went to the crown center in Kansas City.Half skated while the other half watched.I'm not a good skater so I took pictures. I said I was cold so my friends not skating surrounded me and gave me a bear hug. Liz and I went and found the ice after the Zamboni went through and made little snow balls out of it but didn't throw at anyone. After the others got tired of skating we went back inside the crown center.Before we did we took pictures outside.When we asked this couple to take our picture,the guy was like do you guys believe in Santa? The fountains were going off to and some kids were soaked running through it,who knows why but then the boys decided to do it,they at least ran through the isles between the fountains and not when they were all the way up. We then went to the Crayola store inside,the toy store and then got some ice cream since everything was closing. Now we are on our way back to the burg. When we get back we are watching the polar express. Please be praying for my grandpa antal who is in the hospital with pnemonia, Kaci's parents as they travel to tennessee for a funeral, my mom's cousin patty died tonight.my friend,Indiana's father had heart surgery and I'm sure there are so many more things right now but I already know God is taking care of it.I will feel so silly with my request to find my keys since its driving me crazy not having them but I know everyone else needs prayer too. 4 more days then I will be home for winter break :). Boojangles, Humphrey, and Squirreliosis

That fact that its Friday should be enough to put anyone in a good mood. This morning I got up when Katie so I could go look in the dining hall for my keys but still nothing. I came back and slept until 10 then got up and got ready for class. Today we turned in our final print for Foundations. We then went around and voted for our favorite.I got a few votes so I felt pretty good. After class Kaitlin and I ate lunch,she let me use one of her meals. I went to Ideas and Visual Arts after lunch. We went around and said our favorite presentation. Several people said they liked my Spread the Word project. If hope that I impacted some people with my presentation. She said she was so happy with our projects so she let us leave 15 minutes early. I came back and made Oreo truffles for our girls night. Jauan came in and tried to take Humphrey again so I put him,Squirreliosis(katie's squirrel which sounds like scoliosis to me) and Katie's moose boojangles.Short haired matt went with me to the dining hall to show me where he had seen my keys but they were gone. I called the Id center and deactivated my card so whoever has my keys,they aren't any good to them. The other girls came to the room and we left to go over to Yaeter for the slumber party. We all looked funny caring our blankets and bags our of Ucc and into Yaeter. Morgan,Katie,both Laurens, Kaci, Liz and I were all sleeping out in the basement of Yaeter. We ordered pizza,on directions to the driver Morgan put draw a picture of an animal on the pizza boxes but when the guy got here, he said he didn't have any room to draw it. We ate the pizza and Oreo truffle,watched tv,then played Just Dance 3. At first there was no dvd player then after not finding one,Lauren B went and got hers but it didn't work with the tv so after Nora got done with dance she went and got Katies hdmi cord so we could use a labtop to watch movies on the tv. We watched the Grinch until Nora got here. Then we watched Sleepover. We were finally able to make it through it after it kept freezing. Now we are watching Stick It-love!If you are following the bible reading it was Numbers 31-34 today. I've had a great evening with these girls so far, much needed that's for sure! Well until tomorrow!

It's a fancy blue

It was the best of times,it was the worst of times.This sentence pretty much sums up my day because another day goes by and still no keys and I spent a better part of my day looking for them or having someone tell me that they weren't there. I was at every office or called everyone that I could think of where someone would turn my keys in. After tons of rejection I am about as emotionally drained as I can be for the night. I went to my last T and C this morning. Hallelujah! Criticism is just as hard to receive as it was the first class. Mr. Mitchell skipped mine as if God was saying she has already heard enough today. I had to leave class early because he ran over time and I had to go to psych. As I was leaving he was like have I gotten to your photo story yet and I was like no but I have class so I don't know if he got to it but I don't care because I didn't have to hear about it in class. In psych we went over stuff for the test,did an evaluation and then were able to leave. After looking for my keys some more, I went back to the room. I skipped lunch because I didn't have my id so I couldn't eat in the dining hall. I went to the photo lab and printed my final print to turn in tomorrow for Foundations. I decided to do the one of Joey on the goal post. Then I came back and after eating some girl scout cookies and fighting with Jauan with my elephant. I took a nap and not just a 30 min one a nice over an hour one. It was definitely needed. After I got up I did my bible reading. Today it was Numbers 26-30. I decided just to finish Numbers so now I am ahead. Supper time was getting closer and I was worrying about how I was going to eat without my card.After asking a few of my friends, Mike volunteered to give me one of his meals. We went to Todd and ate. After wards we went to the Fun Before Finals thing at the Union. We watched the juggler or juggular as we liked to say. Before he started we waited in line for something we had no idea and then found out it was a bag of free stuff including those cups everyone has with the straw in them and a grip around the outside. The juggler was pretty good. His jokes were a little nasty but besides that he was good. For his final trick, he walked across glass with a blind fold on and juggled knives. How do you even go about practicing that I'll never know. When it was over we wait in line to fill tubes with sugar to eat. My tongue was blue after eating it and Sean's friend told me it was regular blue, it was fancy blue. We ate cookies then waited in the oxygen bar line even though I didn't want no smelly tube sticking in my nose. Whitney showed up so she and I went and got some nachos then went and took some pictures in the photo booth. Sean and Lauren were making dog tags so Morgan, Whitney and I went back to the photo booth. They turned out great. We ran into Kaitlin while we were there. Well she creeped on me first through a one way curtain but then I found her lol.Whitney and I walked back to UCC and I went back to Ellis to try to see if my keys were there one more time today. We ran into Russ on the way back. I called my mom to tell her I still hadn't found them. Katie and I went downstairs when I got back to watch Killers with Russ,Mike, Chris, and Sam. When I was going downstairs, I ran into Crystal and short hair Matt, they informed me that they maybe saw keys in a couch in Ellis. If they are mine, I pray they are still there in the morning. It was already closed when they told me. We didn't make it through Killers because we started getting tired. Now Katie is in bed and I am getting ready to head there. This last few days has been stressful too but I am believing that God is going to help me find those keys tomorrow. I think God for a great group of friends he gave me to build me up when I am feeling down. So many people to keep in prayers tonight that I feel selfish asking for prayer for myself but good thing God's grace covers us all. Well I am off to bed. Good night!

At least it's Wednesday

I'm pretty sure this has been to long of a week already and it's only Wednesday. At least tomorrow is December 1 so it should be a good day since I can officially be cheerful about Christmas and my friends can't rag on me for it. I got up and walked my last walk to library at 9 a.m. for class. We reviewed for the final then I came back,watched tv and then practiced my presentation for Ideas and Visual Arts. I went to Foundations where he couldn't find his lecture powerpoint so we just asked some questions and then left. I was actually bummed that he didn't show today's because it was over nature photography and I am really interested in Nature photography. Then I went and ate with my friends. At 1 I went to Ideas and Visual Arts. When it was my turn I gave my project,so excited and I hope it made an impact. I showed the russell video with it and I think things went pretty well. Then Russ, Kaci and I went to Wal-Mart. When I got back I did my bible reading which was Number 21-25. Dalton wanted to go eat at 4 so I went with him. I played Just Dance for a little bit then skyped with Mom and Casen. He is always smiles for me on the web cam. Katie and I went to go eat. I realized that I did not have my keys that have my id on them. I went back and retraced my steps, searched the dining hall and asked the people working. Nothing :(. After the others ate, not me because I had just ate at 4 and didn't have my card to swipe, we looked some more for it. After hoping it would turn up after they cleaned in between dinner and late night, I decided to check back after the basketball game. Katie, Kaci and I walked over and hung out with Morgan until Nora got done with dance so we could go to the game. Whitney let me borrow her id so I could get into the game without having to pay for a normal ticket. Then Morgan let me borrow hers to since she looks more like me. We went to the game  and found a spot. Russ had to play in the pep band for someone. Boys and Girls both beat SBU. I bought some thin mints from the girl scouts who were there because well thin mints are amazing. After the game we walked back and I was going to check the dining halls again but the others wanted to eat late night so we went in. Well still no keys. I came back to the room after no luck anywhere and called mom because I had reached my cool point and I knew she would be able to pray or know what to say because moms are just like that. She and Dad prayed and so did I. I know tomorrow I will find them. She told me to call public safety and tell them about it. The lady said they weren't there and to call the lost in founds in the library and union which both were closed already so I will check tomorrow. Then if they still don't show up after I check there call them back and they will take down my number so if anyone turns them in they can call me. I am trying to stay calm now. I know I will find them tomorrow. Just please be praying that I stay calm tonight and that they will show up tomorrow. Thanks! If I am still awake in an hour, I can shave my legs finally because November will be over! Yay! Don't shave December is not in my future. Well until tomorrow

Bahumbug but that's just you cause it is my favorite holiday

I am happy to say that I slept much better last night :). I got up and went to Freshman Seminar. Today was our last class since we already did our final. We wrote our last prompt then were out of there within 15 minutes. I came back to the room and watched Boy Meets World with my free time before psych. Then I went to Psychology. It wasn't too awful, I just keep telling myself its almost over. I then went and had lunch with my friends. After lunch I had small group. We had a really good talk today and I just love my group so much, we are all helping each other grow towards God. I came back to the room and did my bible reading which was Numbers 16-20. Then practiced my spread the word presentation for tomorrow. Then Katie, Nora and I went to see Breaking Dawn. It was really good and they did a good job of mostly staying on track with the book. There were some kids in the movie and I am pretty sure I would not take my kid to see a vampire movie lol. I dropped Katie off at the sorority house (she hasn't moved yet,it was just a meeting) and then Nora and I met the others at Todd to eat. To continue or Tuesday night tradition we watched Glee in my room. It was an especially good episode tonight in my opinion. We had a floor meeting after to inform us on everything we had to do before leaving for winter break.After watching Raising Hope I studied for my LIS final for a while. Now I am watching FRIENDS before I attempt to get to bed earlier tonight. To explain tonight's blog title, at lunch I was talking about Christmas movies and everyone was like I don't like watching Christmas movies and I was telling Mike that he needed more Christmas spirit. Then I told him that Thursday I was wearing my Christmas outfit and they were all going to like it. I will get my friends excited yet. Thank goodness Nora and Kaitlin can back me up on this. Jsyk tomorrow at midnight Russ and I will be able to shave and it looks like neither of us is going lose this. Yesterday we decided we were going to start trying the whole kill them with kindness thing so tonight at supper somebody said something and I was like hey we are being nice now. So Whitney said to Mike "I like your northface hoodie you rich dangus(her word)."Then Russ looks at Mike and says "black looks good on you." Whintey-"That's like saying white looks good on me" Needless to say we were trying our hardest lol. Over this past semester in my small group, we have been talking about the reason for believing in God. I said that it's the little things,the miracles,the experiences that let me know for sure he is there. Today I got to hear several of those stories and it reminds of how awesome he is and how he always makes a way. This is just a perfect example of how God created each of us with a purpose and made us special. I love this story! It's safe to say that today was soo much better than yesterday! Case of the Mondays

Did anyone else feel like this was an insane Monday? Both Katie and I could not sleep last night. A section of our lights fell down in the middle of the night and Katie thought someone was trying to break in the room. I thought I was talking in my sleep and imagined the whole thing. This morning I started off my Monday by going to my library class then went and put my photo assignment on the server. When I came back to the room I just relaxed until my next class. Then I went to Foundations. It was actually really depressing because he was talking about how amazing you have to be to get a job and if you have a media emphasis, he won't pass you for mid program assessment unless you have worked for a newspaper which pretty much means I got to work for a newspaper before my junior year. Then I went and ate lunch with my friends. After lunch I went to Ideas and Visual Arts. Sometimes I almost like that class when we talk about social and world issues. After class, I came back to my room and read for small group tomorrow. I worked on my final for Ideas and Visual Arts then watched some t.v. I broke up with Jesse this afternoon. Don't worry I am fine, I have my reasons and we will be better as friends. I took a little nap before Kaitlin came over to hang out a little bit before supper. I talked to Ashley for a little bit. My friends and I went and ate supper. Then Morgan, Lauren M., Russ and I went rock climbing. I decided to go at the same time as Morgan but the half of the wall I went on was harder then the normal one and I could feel it. Then we went again this time I went on an easier part and Morgan went on a really hard part. Needless to say all of us will probably be a little sore tomorrow. When we got back, I showed them the Grannies are for powning noobs,thanks Brett and Kaci for showing me lol. I started working on my advent calendar and was able to finish it while watching Bug's Life :). I talked to my momma afterwards. Today's bible reading is Numbers 11-15 and Psalms 90. I am almost done with it. Please keep Dylan and Dalton Howe in your prayers as they lost their home to a fire this last weekend, also Sherry has been in the hospital recently and could use some prayers as well. Yesterday I forgot to mention that I got gas in Columbia for $2.95 :D. Well here's to a way better Tuesday which I know it will be because Katie and I are going to see Breaking Dawn. Share the road

Last night I had so many dreams and a bunch of them were not good so it kind of put me in a funk today which I am not proud of. I went to church. I did my bible reading and actually got ahead.Today was Numbers 7-10. When I got home I worked on my advent calendar and Dad cut the plexi glass for me to glue the pill bottles on to. I still can't show you tonight because when I back to the burg and went to get it out of my car, it slipped out of my hand and some of the bottles came off so tomorrow I will have to borrow Lauren's glue gun and fix it. I loaded everything into my car after lunch, said goodbye to the parents and headed back to the burg. I made it back in good time even though traffic was crazy. After I got back and unloaded everything my friends and I went to Todd to eat. We went to family video after and rented The Switch. Lauren, Morgan, Russ, Mike, Katie and I came back and watched it. It was actually way better then I expected. When it was over Katie and I put up the Christmas decorations. We made Mike and Russ help us some. In the movie the boy gets head lice and I was looking at Katie's yearbook and she was like here let me show you the guys who head lice lol. We watched a christmas movie on abc family afterwards. I was showing them my small town photo story when I came to a picture of an amish share the road sign. They told me how they had never seen one before. I thought that was crazy. Jauan came into our room and mentioned deer jerky so I asked him for some because that's all I had been asking for for the last month. He brought me a whole plate a little bit ago which made my night. I love it! I got Katie to try a tiny piece but she wasn't to keen on the whole deer thing. It's so great to be back with my friends again although I miss the ones at home already. 9 more days I'm here then I am back home for a month. Katie and I are actually going to try and start off the week by going to bed before midnight lol so good night!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

This morning I got up and said goodbye to my family as they went back to Ohio today. It was nice to get to spend some time with them this week since we only get to see them once a year. Then I watched Deck the Halls. Since I was in such a Christmas mood, I put up the Christmas tree in my room and then put the tree in the living room. Then I put up some Christmas lights inside the house and watched Christmas in Wonderland. Then I did my bible reading this afternoon. Today it was Numbers 3-6. I was getting tired so I took a nap. When I got up I continued the Christmas mood by watch Garfield's christmas. I started working on my advent calendar. I decided to use pill bottles. Then I left to go Kirksville and eat with some of my friends that I haven't seen in a while. We met at Lapa Changa. It ended up being Danielle, her cousin, Callie, Nora Dodd, Ashley and I. We were pretty hungry waiting on Ashley to get there and went through a bunch of chips and salsa. I got pollo con queso-amazing! We had a great time catching up. Ashley and I went to Wal-Mart so I could get a few things. After I got what I needed we said goodbye to the others and left. When I got home I finished my advent calendar although it did not come out how I wanted so Dad came up with another idea which I am going to try tomorrow before I head back to college. I don't even know where this break went to. I can't believe its already time to go back. Now I am going to get ready and go to bed. Good night!

Advent Calendar

Happy Black Friday!I am proud to say I did not go shopping. Sleeping was way better :). For a few years now I have really wanted an advent calendar. I don't know why. Just the thought of opening a new one everyday and not knowing what to expect is exciting. They are so expensive so tonight I decided I am going to make one. Katie, Kaitlin and I love Christmas so hopefully they will both like it in our room. Katie will be in there the first half of the week when we get back and then Kaitlin will move in. Either way I will blessed with the roommate I have. I heard black friday was pretty crazy this year which is a little saddening. Why do people need to get that out of control for one thing. I will be participating in Cyber Monday instead because I am an online shopper. I like shopping in the store but this time of year I'd rather buy online. Casen got to spend the day with us today. He showed his cute little self every minute. Becky and I spent most of the day watching Christmas movies. Surprisingly they weren't on every channel but give it a week and they will be. Mom made some chocolate chip cookies this afternoon. Becky and I did the hard work of stirring in the chocolate chips lol. Brett, Kaci and I met at Spencer Lake and played tennis for awhile. We mostly just hit the tennis balls back in forth instead of playing like actual games and keeping score. We did play 3 games of sort of tennis. Then after we got to cold, we went to Casey's. Kaci was very kind and bought be a hot chocolate. After we paid, we parted our ways. When I got back I caught up on my bible reading. Today is was Leviticus 26-27 and Numbers 1-2. Dad, Uncle Bruce, Grandpa, and Aunt Ruth got here and we had supper. We watched one of my favorite Christmas movies-the Santa Clause! Then we watched Open Season. Uncle Bruce was joking around and informed me that cameras were a sin that it was in the bible in hesitations lol. I told him in that case I sinned 500 times yesterday and will be sinning extra since my major is photography. Then I was reading a photography magazine so I was in the process of sinning. After supper I finished my poster for Ideas and Visual Arts. I am so excited to give it on Wednesday over Spread the Word to End the Word. Then I read my stack of magazines that I hadn't got to read yet. Then Mom, Becky, and I looked up ideas on how to make an advent calendar. I will let you know tomorrow what the outcome is. Altogether it was a great Friday! I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend the day. Now we are finishing a Christmas movie. Jac, Sam, Ashley, Elizabeth, Amy and I were going to have a girls night tonight but Jac got sick and we definitely didn't want to try to go through with it with her feeling rough. I am sad I didn't get to see them because I haven't seen Sam or Amy since August and if I don't get to see them tomorrow then I won't get to see them until Winter break. Pray that Jac gets better quick because I don't want her to have to spend her break sick, and pray for any injuries that people received from black friday (I'm serious on this because I heard about multiple ones). No pie=sad puppy

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! I am so thankful for the wonderful friends and family I have and for having God in my life. They have truly blessed me. This morning I got up and watched the McDonald's day parade from Chicago since we don't get the channel the Macy's one is on. Becky stayed at our house last night since my Grandpa only has one guest bedroom at his house. After the parade I made a strawberry cheesecake. Then we got ready an headed down to Grandma's. Everyone was there and on time if I may add. I was able to get pictures of each smaller family which was an achievement since no one will usually let me take their picture. I got my noodles which I had been waiting for and Zack made amazing pork loin. After being stuffed some people played uno,others play with the kids and the guys did there own thing. About 4 I made Joey get all his clothes that he wanted to wear for senior pictures. Then he and I went to the school and I took some on the football field, gym and in the parking lot. Then we took some more when we got back. They turned out great I think. I am so excited to use one as my final. Little Randy was sitting at the table eating and Toby started barking. He said "Toby is sad, My uncle Tim "Why is the dog said?, Little Randy "He wants pie". I am sure Toby couldn't agree more. We all just had a really great day together and I couldn't have asked for a better Thanksgiving. I can't believe its already Thursday. I have so much to do in the time left of break.I still need to finish 2 finals, have a girls night with my friends tomorrow,and maybe going to see Breaking Dawn with Kylie on Saturday. I brought 2 books home and I was hoping to get to read some on both of them when I can barely get my bible reading done which I still haven't done. I will hopefully get it done tomorrow because after I go get Becky, I am off to bed. Later!O the bible reading was Leviticus 22-25.

Skitels is really good

This morning I got up and went to my hair appointment. I just got a little trim. Then I headed to school since it was an early out. I hung out in Mom's office for a bit and talked to Ashley while she worked then went to the preschool. I caught Jace off guard since he didn't know I was coming. It didn't take the new preschoolers long to get attached to my hip. Jarrett, a little girl who lives next to my grandpa, couldn't remember but once she did, did not let me go. Before I knew it I had three munchkins piled on me with a stack of books they were wanting me to read to them. I got one book read when it was time to get ready for lunch. I left and went and got lunch for mom and I. Katie and Tammy were both working so I got to catch up with them. After eating I went and found Mr. Worth in Ms. Dewitt's room. The kids were working on writing things they are thankful for on the turkeys. Aiden spotted me right away so then he started righting my name on a feather. Mr. Worth tried to give him a hard time for writing my name after I just walked in the room and he helps him read and write through out the week. I was like Aiden and I were best buds last year in preschool so then Aiden wrote Mr. Worth's name on the next one. the kids left for special so then Jacinda, Ms. Dewitt and I just sat and talked for a little bit. Then Gentry got to school so we went and sat my mom's office and chatted. Kaitlin and Tara got there so we all got to talk for a little bit. Then school got over so mom and I went to Kirksville. After since it was Sonic happy hour, of course I had to get my usual slush. Mom helped me come up with some ideas for my photo story assignment so on the way home I stopped in town and shot some pictures. When I got home I did my bible reading which was Leviticus 16-21. Then ate supper. After supper I went down to Grandma's and took some pictures of Morgan, Randy and Steph. The munchkins cooperated so well and smiled for me. They would have let me take pictures all day if I would have wanted too. When I got back Elizabeth, Brett and Kaci came over and we played rock band then just dance. I would just like to point out that I beat Brett sitting down on one song :P. I introduced Elizabeth to sugar snap peas. Brett showed us a bunch of Trale Lewous videos which is where tonight's blog title comes in. You can buy skitels for one money lol. My aunt,uncle and cousin got in from Ohio. They hit a deer by our house though. Thank goodness it wasn't bad. We had a really great time tonight. We skpyed Whitney and Russ. I'm so excited for Thanksgiving tomorrow because this year I get to stay as long as I want. No acl injury or anywhere I have to be. :) Well I'm off to bed. Well maybe not asap because I am watching sister of the traveling pants 2 and going to edit some photos.Later!

Hit me with your best shot

Today I watched Casen all day. It was fun just to get to spend all day with my nephew. He was really good for me and spent the day playing and chattering non stop. You can't take your eyes off of him though or he will find some kind of trouble. He thought that Maycee needed a drink of water from our water thing so he just pushed the button down and let the water run onto the floor. He soaked the front of himself so needless to say Aunt Rachel did not let him out of her sight the rest of the day. He fell asleep pretty quick after lunch and let me get a nap in. We played and giggled the rest of the afternoon and then his mom came and got him. Jac and Liz texted me to go eat at buddies but my dad was already grilling me pork steak so I didn't go. I was feeling better today but now I am not feeling great again.After supper I watched the rest of season 2 glee. Then I watched the x factor in between baking cookies. I started on my bible reading which is Leviticus 11-15. I am about to finish it. Glee wasn't on regular tv tonight, go figure since I could actually watch it. I felt like as discouraged as I got today God still made the way. He is continuing to bless me all the time. Please be praying for all the sickness going on in many people right now and for Roger's family. His grandfather passed away tonight. Well I'm hoping the hot bubble bath will help me feel a little bit better.Good night!

Go Paint the Sky

Last night right before I went to bed I started having a sore throat. This morning my throat was feeling better but I still spent the day sick :(. I got up and spent my first morning of break watching cartoons like any normal college student lol. Then I ate some lunch and went to my room and watched Glee. My cat and I fell asleep for awhile. When I woke up I was feeling way better. I decided that if I got up and stayed busy then I might keep feeling better. I ate some soup while watching some more Glee. I got yesterday's bible reading done and still have to finish todays which is Leviticus 5-10. Kylie came over and we watched All About Steve. Mom got home and had Casen. Mom had to go back to the ball game so I watched Casen. Kylie had to leave after the movie was over so I played with Casen until Jon got there. Casen is so silly. He took his sock off and put my fuzzy sock on and was walking around with it on. He laughed every time I tickled him with my red pillow. I can't wait to spend the whole day with him tomorrow. After Casen went home I started working on my final project for Ideas and Visual Arts. I was in a painting mood when I got done painting the poster board so I painted a picture. It came out pretty good I think for have not painted for a long time. Now I am going to finish my reading then get ready for bed since I am going to have to get up early tomorrow to babysit Casen. Today is Kaci Tades birthday jsyk! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KACI! Sometime this week I will get to celebrate with her. well good night!

60-30 seriously?

This morning I got up and went to church with my family. Zack and Zoe were stayed at our house last night so I gave them there sunday school lesson today and Tennley was there so I got to hold her and see her.Yesterday it was warm out and today it was freezing but that's Missouri weather for you. When we got home I had the kids get their stuff rounded together so I could take them home because I had a family shoot in Memphis at 1. I took them to their mom's then went and met the family I was shooting at Gas and More. We drove out to the lake and I took their pictures. The one little boy's teeth were chattering the first time I took his picture. We had a lot of fun and I really wish I could of given her edited pictures but I still think they came out pretty good. When I got home I watched Fired Up and then took a nap. For some reason I have been really tired since I have been home, probably all those late nights catching up with me. After I got up and ate some food, I got ready to head to Lancaster to watch Taylor preach with Ashley. Then I went to my church after wards. I started to play the wii but then didn't feel like it so I put a Christmas movie in then skyped with Katie,Russ and Mike. I already miss them and its only been a few days. I miss all my college friends actually. When I am there I miss my friends here and when I'm here I miss my friends there lol. I forgot the AMA's were on so I am kind of sad I didn't get to watch them, maybe its because Russ wasn't here and it's only fun to watch them with him since he doesn't know who any of the people are on there. After skyping with them I was going to do my bible reading but I am starting not to feel great so I am going to try and go to bed earlier then I usually do. I failed at it last night since Brett and kept getting pictures off of iwastesomuchtime.com and sending them to each other on facebook. Tomorrow I am going to try and work on my final projects and get all the random things done before the rest of the week of babysitting Casen and hanging out with friends and family. Good night! Pray that I do not get sick! O and todays bible reading was Exodus 39-40, Leviticus 1-4. I will catch up on it tomorrow!

Where did my Saturday go?

First day of break, so I got to sleep in.I am pretty sure this Saturday went really fast. This morning when I got up I laid around and watched Extreme Maker Home Edition with Mom until I got ready to go over to hang out with my sister. I went by Roger's to get the kids but they were at Jen's. So I went over and talked to her for a while and the rest of her family and until the kids were ready then we went back to Roger's and the kids got their stuff. I took them back to Jess's and we spent the afternoon talking and playing wii. We had a good time and after a while the kids and I left to come here. We watched Evan Almighty then Zack and I played with legos. I am pretty sure I built the best lego apartment complex ever lol.  Then we watch Paul Blart: Mall Cop. I got caught up on my bible reading. Today it was Exodus 33-38. Zoe was itching to play the wii so she and I played Just Dance 3. Then she wanted to play Rock Band so played that for a little bit. Now Zack is playing the wii while I am blogging. For some reason I am so tired right now and I figured I would be energetic today. I am pretty excited about having my first family shoot tomorrow although I won't have any sneak peeks for you because I am taking them for one of Jess's friends on her sd card so she can just have them that day. Coming home never felt better

Finally Friday and I can come home! This morning I woke up and saw that Katie was still sleeping so I thought I just woke up early but as I was getting ready to fall asleep again she got up and rushed out the door to class. I wasn't really tired so I got up and got ready to go. About 10 we were all ready and left to head for home. I followed her all the way until the turn off in Columbia then headed north. I got to school to stop and see momma and say hi to everyone. I made my rounds from little Ashley and Becky, to the preschool, to the high school and got to visit with the teachers for awhile. It was after 4:30 when I finally got done visiting and headed home because Jon wanted me to go get Casen. As soon as I showed up at the babysitters, he was smiling and talking up a storm to me. I miss him so much when I am at college. I brought him and played with him for awhile until Jon and Lyndsi came and got him. In  my room there were 3 more vintage cameras so I now have 7. My little collection is starting to grow. I did some laundry then put Valentine's Day which is funny because Kaitlin was watching it to at the same time. I think we will be pretty great roommates. I went to the living room and chatted with my parents for awhile while watching Phineas and Ferb. hehe. Dad wanted to know all about Jesse. Now I am just blogging before I go do tonight's bible reading which is Exodus 28-32. Today I was thinking of my family and I realized that through out the last few months we have grown really close. My sister and I talk so much more and have a really good bond. I call my mom all the time at school and I just feel like I can tell my parents anything. I am so excited to be able to spend the next week with them all. I think God has truly blessed me especially this week with Vision week! Well laters!

No shave Novembrah?

Thursday woo which means its almost Friday!!!I got up and went to T and C this morning. I finally have a perfect picture to present to him but then he thinks that it could have improved on the theme. O well. After T and C, psychology was cancelled so I came back and took a nap until lunch. Then I went and ate with my friends. After lunch, I came back and started cleaning and packing. I did some homework then carried some of my stuff to my car. I watched FRIENDS for awhile then I got to skype with Ashley. Then Russ came in and we watched Katie's camp videos. Then we went downstairs to Mike's room to order pizza with the others. I came back up and got ready to go to play with Lauren and Sean. I ate pizza with the others then said goodbye to Jesse as he left for the break. Nora, Morgan, Sean, and Lauren were going to go to Sonic but it was already after 7 so we just drove around and parked and agreed to go to Sonic after the play. When we got to play we didn't think you actually had to sit where your number was so we sat towards the middle of the row but as people started showing up they actually wanted their spot and someone sat in Lauren and I's seats so she, Sean, and I just sat in the back so we could all sit together. There really isn't a bad spot in the theater though. Almost, Maine was really good. It made miss going to see plays with my mom and grandma. After it was over we got Morgan and Nora and went to Sonic. Today was the last day of being without facebook. I made it 96 hours without it and I feel like I got to grow with God through the whole thing. I caught up in my bible reading. Today it was Exodus 21-27. I got to talk to my momma to and told her that I would see her around 1 tomorrow instead of 6 like originally planned because I decided it was pointless to wait around all day to go to my 1pm class when we weren't doing anything in class. Technically I could have went home this afternoon but I wanted to see Almost Maine so I will leave in the morning when Katie and Mike do. On the way back to my room, Josh was talking to Sean and he was like no shave novembrah? lol.I also got to text my sister for a little bit. I am so excited to be home and see everyone for a week but I will miss my friends here for the week. Almost everyone is gone now so I am going to get ready for bed. Good night.
