It tastes like pink

Friday seemed like it took forever to get here. I got to sleep in a little this morning. When I got up I carried some stuff to my car then went to the photo lab to finish my assignment. We had a scavenger hunt in Foundations today which was really intense. My group went to the bell tower first may have gave us an advantage. We got to the photo lab right before another group and barely got our assignment on before them.So if everything is correct then we won but we won't know till Monday. Then I went and ate lunch with my friends.As soon as lunch was over I was Lancaster bound. I got home about 4:30. I was so glad to be home. My father made me grilled pork steak which was amazing as always! Ashley was going to call at halftime of the game so we would know when to leave so while I waited, I watched some more glee. On an episode Kurt's like it tasted pink.How can anything taste pink? Jon,Lyndsi and Casen came over for a little bit.I got to see my baby boy who is getting so big. He is starting to speak full words.I love when he says Maci :). Ashley called so Mom and I left. After picking her up in Macon,we were on our way. Now we are currently on our way to St. Joe. Brett thought he burned me pretty good earlier with something he said so he's like maybe there's an ace bucket in the hotel. When I asked him what an ace bucket he was, he said that's ghetto for ice. Lol. Well until tomorrow's blof :)

Is it an edible penny?

This has been like the longest week its seemed. My first class today was t and c which I kind of dread because I don't know how to take criticism very well although I know its to improve my pictures. He was a little more brutal today to our pictures then usual but he didn't have much bad things to say about my picture which let me breathe a sigh of relief. Then I went to psych. My teacher is from India and some days she has great english and other days you can understand what she is saying. Today she was like when you put your foot on the axel rater. I was like what then I thought of Mad Gab (which I just thought of the actual game because no one knew earlier) so I was like o accelerator. None of my friends were at lunch when I got there so I sat with Kaci's friends and then mine started showing up so I stayed at lunch until 1 lol. Then Russ and I walked over to the union for their 49th birthday party. Russ knocked open the pinata and I picked up candy.Then we played fuse ball. Mo the Mule was there so we took our picture with him then ate some amazing birthday cake. Central Cash was working today so I finally got and id pouch so I can stop losing mine :P. I had to stop at Grinstead on the way back to check out a reflector for my photo assignment. I made Katie and Mike pose for it individually. Then I watched Glee for a while and procrastinated. I was in a cleaning mood so I vacuumed the floor,changed the trash and organized my stuff then I got stuff rounded together to bring home tomorrow.  Finally I started on my homework and found out that my photography chapter is only 6 pages instead of 30 this week so the possibility of me getting a good grade is looking good :). Dalton asked Katie and I if we wanted to go swimming so instead of eating at 6 like normal, the three of us went to the multipurpose and swam for an hour.The water felt great!I miss the pool so much and now that I know where it is I am going to try and go more often. Then we went and ate at Todd. We had already missed the first half off the soccer game but were able to catch the last half and UCM beat SBU 4-0! Then we went to Mcdonalds and played apples to apples in the back with Whitney,Christian,Sean,Russ, and Morgan. It was so funny. Jsyk those pumpkin shakes are nasty, I tried Sean's. I had a penny so I asked Sean if I could throw it at him and he said only if it's edible. That was like the best game of apples to apples ever. Then we got back I talked to Chris for a little bit since its been forever since I have talked to him last. Then I skyped Brett. It was the color game all over again when he was trying to get me to guess the name of his butterfly love child. I finally got it. His quote for the day, "I slay myself." Well I am going to my first class tomorrow then Lancaster here I come. Good night! :)

Wild Card Wednesday

I guess Katie and I were both tired because there was no talking in sleep or anything last night. I got up and went to my library class then came back and took a 30 min nap.Then I went to Foundations. There was no one at lunch today and nothing served so I came back to my room and ate.At 1 I went to Art History. After class I came back to my room and did the dishes. Then I watched Glee for awhile. Nora and Whitney told made my day by bringing me a slush from Sonic :).Then at 4 Katie got back and got ready for my photo shoot. She was the princess and Liz was the prince. They were pretty interesting pictures that I took for my fantasy themed assignment. Then I was going to do homework when we got back but ended up talking to my mom on the phone and not being very productive which is ok because I didn't have any homework due tomorrow. At 6 Katie,Russ,Kaci and I ate supper together. Then at 7 I went to photo society. It stinks because I only get to stay for 20 mins before I leave for Dig and in that time they never do anything. Then I went to DIG! Theres a bunch of mission trips/ other trips that they are taking in the next year and I really want to go to one. One is PASSION in atlanta, georgia which would be amazing because francis chan is one of the speakers (author of crazy love) and chris tomlin and david crowder will be there! There is also a slumber party next week for the girls after DIG which is going to be so much fun because there are no morning classes the next for the president's inauguration. When we got back from DIG we found out the cardinals had won! The phillies were currently play the braves and if they braves won, they would have to play the cardinals for the last spot in the playoffs. The phillies won so the cardinals are in the playoff! A pretty laid back wednesday but a pretty great one! Brett's quote for tonight ,"Stay in school, don't do drugs and things of that nature" bahaha. Well I actually get to go to bed before midnight tonight so good night!

Zuzu

It's only Tuesday.This morning I got up and went to Freshman Seminar where made our 4 year plans for college.I dont think my schedule will be to awful if it plays out how I have it. Then I went to psychology which is not fun. She gives quizzes alot after we just took notes over what we took notes on. Then I ate lunch with Kaci,Katie,Sean,and Russ. Kaci and I got to have a really good chat at lunch. Then I went to my small group. We got to talk about so many things and it was a very productive group time. We are having a girls night Monday which I can't wait for! After small group I cam back to my room and did a load of laundry. Glee Season 2 came in the mail today!So Katie and I started watching it. I think I will get her hooked. At 4 we went to Abs. The girl who teaches it is always crazy making us hold positions for a minute and do 60 of whatever. We watched some more glee then went to supper. After supper everyone came to my room to watch Glee and celebrate Russ's/Carrie's birthday.So much dessert! I don't know what the fire code is for a dorm room but I am pretty sure I over passed it. We were going to watch a scary movie but it wasn't working out to well. So most people left except Sean and Russ. Russ and I played Just Dance 2/wii sports. Sean just sat in my chair doing his homework. He is so funny because he is random alot and I have some lion king pictures hanging up on my wall.He looked at the bird and was like zuzu. No Sean that's Zazu lol.Then they a left and chatted with Kaitlin in my room for a little bit. Facebook told me today that my favorite status is Brett pays people to say he's awesome.I would agree with this.Brett said it's because everyone liked it because he is awesome and I said its because they agree with me that he pays them off :P.Well I am going to try and go to bed earlier tonight since I didn't get to bed until almost 2 last night and have been talking my sleep this week.Good night!

Looking at the glass half full

I went to my library class this morning and the teacher started off Monday great by letting us out 20 mins early. I came back to my room and took a 40 min nap so I was able to stay awake in foundations. Mr. Mitchell let us out of the class 20 mins early in his class too. I was definitely loving this getting out of class early thing. Katie introduced me to ooey gooey butter cake which is AMAZING! Then Mike,Katie,Kaci and I ate lunch together. My last class wasn't as nice as the rest because it didn't get out early. When I got back to my room I learned the shuffle!ya I am still not great at it but I will get there. Then I was pretty lazy and watched friends and didn't do to much. At 4 Katie got back from class and we went to wal mart. After we got back, we hung up halloween lights. Our room looks extra awesome now! Then we went to dinner with our friends. So 2 coincidences happened to well I guess you could call it that.1)the commercial on tv where the girl sets her parents up with facebook and they have 16 friends while she has 687,I looked at my facebook right then and I have 687 friends. 2) Katie Hrenchir sends me a bible verse everyday and today it was "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Which Soul Surfer posted on facebook today too. I am sure God was trying to tell me not to be discouraged and just ask for his help. Breanna Brummer is starting a read the bible in 182 days thing on October 30 and I want to do it. So please pray for me to make it happen and stick with it. I was wanting a way to read my bible more and believe this is the oppurtunity. After dinner Katie,Mike and I played Rock Band with the rest of the people in the lounge for a little bit then I came in my room and started doing my small group reading. Then I skyped Brett.Apparently he thinks reading is for rich people which can't be true because I am a college student. Sean came to my room and made a card for Carrie's birthday. Mike asked Katie to be his girlfriend when she got back from the movie. It was so sweet. Whitney, Morgan and Nora came over and we were just all really emotional some were happy and others were discouraged so we all went to McDonalds and just let everything pour out. Morgan bought me a strawberry shake which totally made my day. I love my friends so much! When we got back we told Carrie happy birthday and I gave her the glow wand that I got her for her birthday. Well its not looking like Katie and I will be asleep very soon but so long until tomorrow!

Lack of Sleep does things to a person

So I'd be lying if I said it wasn't hard to get up this morning.Sean,Russ and I were the only ones who went to church. The minster had a really great sermon this morning on constructive conflicts and it really made me think. God was working in my life alot this morning and he put me into other people's shoes. When we got back we went to lunch. Then I came back and put all my pics on facebook and skyped Ashley! I was so tired from last night that I took a 2 hour nap until people in the hall woke me up. Nora and Whitney came over then and they hung while I skyped Brett and everyone came in and out of my room. I went and ate at Todd with my friends then came back and got to work on my studying for my photography quiz. Something about the wording throws me off because even studying and a short chapter I still didn't do as good as I want. I feel like I am struggling a little bit in this class because I work hard but its not paying off yet. I guess I just need to go in and talk to Professor Mitchell or ask Kelsey,my CCH friend and photo major, to help me. Then Katie and Mike got back from being gone all weekend. I put on my mustache when Katie walked in and she thought I was pretty funny. I watched G-Force and then skyped Brett some more.Then my friends came over and we watched Baby Mama. Brett is now trying to turn my friends against me to join his team :P. During the movie I borrowed Russ's phone and made it sound like Russ left Brett's team to join mine but then Russ told Brett he went back to his team. Now I am getting ready to go to bed because I am sooo tired!  Good night!

You just got moosed

Zoe woke me up this morning since she got to stay the night in my dorm. Then Mom and Zack came over to my dorm.We went and toured the campus and took some pictures. We gave Zack and Zoe the full college experience. Then we came back and hung out in my room for a little bit. At noon we walked over to the union and ate Chick-Fil-A!! Then we got cheek cheers and took a picture with the mule mascot.Kaci walked over to the game with us. UCM ended up winning 54-30.The flash mob was a success. Then Mom,Zack,and Zoe left. I came back to my room. Russ texted me to go eat and I thought he meant the dining hall but his parents wanted to take everyone out. Sean,his brother Kyle and I were the only ones around so we went. We went to applebees and it was great again lol! Russ had to get some milk but 2% was what his dad got him so Russ was like well I'm going to be 2% fatter.Then I was talking about the color game and playing it with Brett,Ashley,Dillon and Corey. Russ's mom was like I don't remember any of those volors being in my 72 box of crayons. When we got back we walked over to Yaeter to meet Whitney's friend. We walked around campus for a little bit then were going to watch a movie but we ended up going to the rec center and to the union to get fake mustaches. Sean,Kyle,Russ and I played badminton for a while then played our own game kind of sudden death badminton. It was heard to take Sean seriously with his mustache. I was the winner of sudden death badminton. Whenever we hit it we made animal noises then started saying random words.Then we came back to my room and ate our brownie bites from apple bees and are now watching princess bride with the rest of our friends. Brett got to go to luminate today which I am so jealous of. I told him I was sitting by Kaci at the game and he's like I figured when she told me she was sitting by some weird girl. A couple of sad notes for the day the Truman cheerleaders didn't get to come to the UCM like they were going to so I didn't get to see a few of my friends. Also my cat Crash got hit on the road. As for day though,the good outweighed the evil.Well until tomorrow. O ps today was Eunice Kennedy Shriver day so I hope everyone remembered the legacy of an amazing women and the great program of special olympics that she started.The title for today is because Lauren threw a moose at Sean during the movie and he was like ah I just got moosed.

The Killing of the Flower

Friday!!This morning I woke up right as Katie and Mike were getting ready to leave to go home. Then I went to foundations. He actually let us out early which like never happens,if anything he goes over time. Then nobody was free for lunch so I ate in my room and actually had an hour to do nothing.It was nice. Then I went to Ideas and the Visual Arts,boring as always. It was hard to concentrate a little today knowing my family was coming. After my last class I had Lauren and Jauan help me finish my photography. Then I went and put them on the server.As I was walking back I heard someone yelling Rachel but I thought it was to get someone else's attention. It was actually Morgan and Nora trying to catch up with me.We came back to my room and Lauren came over and we just hung out for a while. I skyped Ashley too! Then I was going to try and do my reading but  ended up just laying on my bed watching tv.Lauren and I were really hungry so we ran to Ellis to get something small to eat and ran into Kaci and her friend Tori. Kaci showed us the proper way to peel a banana lol.Sean decided that he wanted to go to Applebee's. So he,his brother Kyle,Lauren, Nora, Russ,Liz and I all went to eat. We had a little wait but it was kind of worth it because it was so good.Liz brought straws so we had a byos party.While we were waiting for our food we played this game that Sean knows where you draw a flower and then you go around the circle-one person draws a way to kill the flower,the next person saves it and so on till you run out of space.It was so funny! We got our food and just talked. Then Mom,Zack, and Zoe got to Warrensburg so I left to go to the hotel to see them. I tried to convince Brett I went to Florida. The kids were hungry so we went to Wal-Mart and got some food and watched tv for awhile while eating it. Then Zoe and I came back to my dorm room. I skyped with Gentry for a little bit. Then I introduced Zoe to my friends.When I asked Brett how the football game went he said "I dont have to take that" which in his terms means Scotland won.I told Zack but he wasn't amused. Now I am going to bed as I have a long but fun day tomorrow.Good Night!

Stay away from the hissing geese

I went to T and C like any other day. My teacher liked my photo of Lauren B doing a cheer jump but he found several things wrong with it that made me kind of sad but I guess that's improvement for next time.After that class I went to psych (rolls eyes). Lacy that I met at DIG sat next to me so that made psych not be as awful. After class I went and ate lunch with Nora,Whitney,Sean,Russ and Lauren B.We ended up being at lunch for like an hour talking and just hanging. I went back to my room and decided to take a nap.Love naps :).Then Katie and I went to Wal-Mart to get food for the picnic.We found out that we aren't allowed to go shopping together because we take forever between the 2 of us and want to buy everything. When we finally left, we came back and melted chocolate to make chocolate covered strawberries.It was pretty great. At 5:30 we left with all our delicious picnic food and piled into 2 cars. Whitney, Russ, Lauren M,Nora, Morgan, and Mike all came with Katie and I. We went to Lions Lake park and ate under a random tree.We avoided all the sweat bees,dogs and random old men. Then we went and fed chips to the ducks and geese. There was one geese that kept hissing thought,it was scary. Carrie and Katie both fed some ducks from their hand. Then we went to the playground and spun around on the merry go round,took random pictures and swung. By the time we left we were almost all sick. It was great time and we laughed so hard. Definitely the best picnic ever! When I got back to my room I worked on my homework while skyping Brett/Dillon because he was at Dillon's house. Omg skyping with them is very...interesting. Dillon's like "i'll give you a few seconds to pick your blown mind off the floor." I asked Brett if I was sounding cool earlier and he said, "maybe on the 5th of never." It was a crazy night skyping with Brett because Josh came in and decided he need to chat with Brett and then Russ.Everyone and the brother was in here. I am so excited to see my mom and zack and zoe tomorrow! The day is going to go by slow probably.Well good night!

I can smell your attitude

Happy Wednesday! So this morning I got up and went to my library class and could barely see out my eyes because they were like blurry but were way better when I got to class. There were a bunch of guys handing out new testament bibles at the bridge.Some people got more then 1. I was so hungry after my first class that I decided to get a muffin and a hot chocolate. They were pretty good. Then I came back and laid on my bed and watched full house for about an hour. Then I went to foundations which was pretty good. I was so tired today that it was hard to stay awake in my classes so I am definitely not staying up past midnight if I can help it tonight. I ate lunch with Kaci and Katie then went to Ideas and Visual Arts which was pretty boring as always. After class my friends and I went to the open house at the Union and got our free shirts. We didn't stay very long and went over to Todd to eat instead. Then I came back and finished getting our room ready for the coolest room contest. Katie got back and the lady came and took a bunch of pictures. We wont know till the 2nd week of October what the results are. Even if we dont win,our room still rocks! After the lady left I took an hour nap. Then I got up and did some homework. Katie and I went and ate supper and then I tried to do more homework but it sort of work and sort of failed.lol. My friends and I went to DIG which was great as always. We sang o happy day which is like one of my favorite songs. Kaci and I did the motions but no one else did. It was a really good service tonight. I felt like God was definitely working today. When we got back Nora,Morgan,Whitney and I went to the UCC dance but it was pretty lame because they made all the songs techno and completely ruined party rock anthem so we didnt stay there very long. Then I got to talk to Elizabeth and Jac for a little bit. I got to skype with Ashley earlier today too.I miss them all so much! When I got back to my room I got on facebook for a little bit and then skyped Brett. He hung up once when he saw that I was wearing a Schuyler shirt and then again when Katie said go rams lol. He said he is going to come and hang out with all my friends without me.psh ya right :P Well I was going to try and go to bed early but that failed so good night :) The blog title is from when I told Katie I was going to take a shower and she's like good because you stink and I was like your face stinks and she goes "I can smell your attitude".Dont know where she comes up with this stuff hehe

Balinvy

Sad to report no pranks last night lol.I got up and went to Freshman Seminar today where we looked at everyone's photo alphabets.Mine didn't get shown because we ran out of time but I wasn't to sad :). Then she drew for our themed assignment which is fantasy.It should be fun coming up with that one maybe :/. Then I went to Gen Psych.It was so boring because all we did is go over questions from the test however she gave us a 10 point curve so I got an A! 7 out of 60 people did on the test after the curve,thats crazy. So with it being warm and that I was having a pretty good day. I ate lunch with my friends and then Nora and I went to our small group. This week was service week so we wrote little notes and stuck them to flowers. We then went to random places and gave them to people.Some people thought it was so sweet and others were caught off guard. I love my small group so much,they are a lot of fun. Then I came back to my room and did some homework then Katie and I got to work cleaning our room since they are judging the coolest room contest tomorrow. We went and ate supper at Todd and for once all our group was together. Then everyone came back to my room and watched the glee premiere.Yay!Then we watched New Girl and Raising Hope.Amazing night of premieres!Then Nora,Lauren and I went to late night to eat with Whitney. Then we came back to my room and watched Bridesmaids. Jaffar feel asleep on my floor during the movie lol. Adding some new cast members to my movie Mike=lil bow wow,  Carrie- Drew Barrymore, and Dalton=Justin Long. When we were coming back from Todd tonight, I stole a balloon from Morgan and Nora's room and blew it up as big as it would go and people kept staring at it when they walked by so Morgan said they have balinvy. So Russ kept telling me he was going to add Brett on facebook and I told Brett not to accept him.Then Brett said he was going to add Morgan and Nora and I was like do whatever you want and he said , "dont threaten me with a good time" lol.I am scared to think about what they could discuss. Brett, the person who always makes comments on my grammar used the word "anywhoozle."Someone find that in a dictionary :P. Katie and I also went to the ab class today. I hate it but I know its helping so I keep going lol. Well good night! :)

Survival of the fittest

Monday!everyone's favorite day of the week. This morning I was awakened by Katie laughing because our door way had been almost completely taped up with duck tape. The UCM ghost struck again.Katie left it up and crawled under to go to class and so did I. I got up and went to my library class.We ended up getting let out about 20 mins early. We found out that Mike,Sean and Russ had also been hit. When I was sitting in my room,the CA game by and asked if someone had done it to be mean. I then went to my photography class which wasn't to bad because we watched a photography history movie. I then ate lunch with Kaci and Katie. When Katie and I came back to the room after lunch, Jauan had taken all the tape down. I went to my art history class which we watched a movie then toured the gallery. After class I came back and let Kailtin print out an assignment when she finally found my room instead of going to Ellis :P. Then worked on some homework. Josh always gives me a hard time and he told me his name was actually Greg. So he said he was going to start calling me Brittany lol. At 4 Katie and I went shopping although we didn't buy anything. I actually knew what a Maurices and Goodys were and Katie didn't. When we got back I got to skype with Amy! I missed her so much! Then my friends and I went to supper. We tried to pretend like we got in big trouble for the tape until we told them the truth. Katie and I are in the coolest room contest and they judge on Wednesday so I hung up some polka dots I cut out and quotes. Our room looks really cool! I skyped with Brett for a long time tonight and he got to see all the people go in and out of my room. Katie and Mike were trying to tell him random things so I had to block them out of camera. He actually had a good quote but I forgot so it is my fault. He still thinks I am paying my friends even though I am college student so I have no money :P. We had a floor meeting tonight and now have to be quite after 9 in our floor and rooms or we will get a write up and it was also to talk about respecting the lounge. Its kind of hard for my friends and I to be quiet lol. Nora and Morgan were bored so they,Lauren and I went outside and played ninja and some other games.Katie almost tried to kill me today by barely making it across train tracks before the arms went down. Well tomorrow is the glee premiere!I think I might actually get to go to bed before 1 tonight! O I was watching Bring it On and Brett was trying to tell me how he had awesome cheer skills.Katie was laughing at me when I was quoting the whole movie.I'm pretty sure its a known fact that all cheerleaders can quote that entire movie.Well good night!

Crusty Jugglers

So last night I put my phone on my bunk bed and laid it on its side so buttons couldn't be pushed in the middle of the night. I either dreamed it or it really happened but in the middle of the night I thought I heard someone answer the phone but I did not recognize the number at all.So I have no idea lol.Needless to say I need to find a shelf that I can stick my phone on at night. This morning we got up and went to church, most people were still sleeping, so only four of us went. The sermon was really good. Then we came back and ate and then went over to Nora and Morgan's room to feed their fish. Well we ended up t-ping it lol. Although when we met them at supper, they said everything was cleaned up so I am not sure what to believe. After lunch I came back and studied for a little bit but then took a 2 hour nap hehe. I was pretty tired. When I got up I studied some more and took my photography quiz. Since I was done with homework, I decided to color. Even though Brett said that college is preschool because we color, it is a great stress reliever. Then we went and ate supper. Earlier I was trying to kick puddles at Mike, Katie,Russ and Sean so after eating they tried to do it back to me. Katie,Mike and I ended up sprinting back to our dorm. Katie and I watched the Emmys. She was trying to make a video of me singing on my bunk without me noticing but she failed and almost fell off the side. The emmys were alright but Modern Family won the most so it wasn't to interesting. Everyone came over because we were going to watch a movie. We ended up spending the next half hour marking all over each other with markers, writing on the balloons and trying to use the balloons as stamps on each other. Needless to say everyone ended up having a mark on them of some kind. We finally started watching Hot Fuzz in the lounge but it was so loud we all went to Mike's room and watched it. It was a pretty good movie,really crazy. It was kind of like Final Destination with some comedy thrown it. Crusty jugglers was a random phrase they used in the movie. I forgot to mention during the marker fight, I got locked out of my room twice by my friends, the first time it was Katie and I, the second it was just me. I took my key with me after that. Brett keeps trying to tell me how much easier college is then high school.psh ya right. We were talking about NCAA being better then Madden today I was like good thing you can tell what games are good and what games aren't.He's like then why do you have wii cheer. I told him I can actually beat him at that game and he said he was going to drop it over a mountain. Wii Cheer>NCAA>Madden :) Well I am looking so forward to this long week of classes but I am going to make the best of it.I dont know if I mentioned this yesterday but UCM beat Truman in soccer so I put that as my facebook status then a bunch of my Truman friends were like so close Bulldogs lol. I can't wait to see my family Friday.Well I am going to bed, good night!

Awesomesauce

This morning I got up and drove to Jeff City for SOMO YAC. I  managed to get there without getting lost. We discussed the youth summit and elected officers. We also played Yaw and Signs. During signs most people had animals signs and then in yaw we yelled animals noises. Half the time we would stop because we were cracking up laughing so much.I'm so excited for the youth summit and it doesn't really bother me that I am missing my homecoming. I was voted co-president! as well as Justin Bernhart. Jennah Garrison and Jared Niemeyer are the co vice presidents and Jessica Bernhart is the secretary. We watched the "r" word video that I posted the other day and talked about. It was pretty deep. I can't wait to do more YAC things. Party Rock Anthem was on the radio 4 times today just saying. O by the way awesomesauce is one of the new YAC members Emma's phrases and it describes today pretty accurately.When I got back Katie and I went to supper. Then we went to the soccer game. UCM won 2-0. It was funny because I kept asking Katie to explain everything to me. It was pretty cold out so we stayed until about 20 min left of the game. Sean told us about this thing where you order a drink from a fast food place and then throw it back in their face. It's horrible so I would never do it but Katie and I have been joking about it all the time. When we were leaving the dining hall I acted like I was going to throw my cup of lemonade on her so she was going to lock me out of the room so we sprinted all the way back. Then after the soccer game we were eating oreos and she threw one at me. It sort of broke so I'm like I wonder if I can get Mike to eat this so I took it to his room and threw it at him and yelled fire in the hole. So we then spent the next half hour oreo going between his room and ours. It ended with it half mushed on my floor and half on his. This was not the end of the oreo wars for the night lol. Josh, Mike's friend, wiped it on my door knob so they got it back but we all finally settled on a truce but the four of us were laughing so hard. I then starting doing homework then I got to skype with Ashley!I don't think the homework is going to be finished tonight because I am so tired so I am going to bed. I don't have any Brett quotes for today :(. The other day I accidentally sent tight to him in a text message so he asked me if that was my new lingo. Tonight I was wearing sweatpants and when we came back one pant leg was half way up and the other was down so Katie asked me why I was being gangster so I had to show Brett my "gangster look" since he makes fun of my use of "tight" and "the burg." Well I am going to bed, Good night!

My 5 week tips

So I have been at UCM for 5 weeks now and I have thought of a few tips for future Freshman.
1)Don't be afraid to change rooms. You will be much happier in a place you are comfortable.

2) Don't be afraid to ask for help rather its on homework, to do something or find something.

3)Coloring is a great stress reliever :)

4) It's ok to watch cartoons, take goofy pictures and go swing on a playground. College doesn't have to be completely serious.

5) It's ok to make new friends and keep your old ones. Just because you go to college doesn't mean you have to forgot your friends from High School. I am never going to stop being friends with my high school best friends. My saying is a friendship is only what you put into it. If you want it to last it will.

Got to Get Down on Friday

So I didn't have class till 11 today so I got to sleep in which was good because we were still up at 1 last night. Then I went and ate lunch with Kaci, Lauren, and Katie. After lunch I went and put my photo assignment on the computer and got my free t-shirt from VSAP for taking an echug quiz about alcohol. When I got back I went and did laundry-always fun not. Then I typed a bunch of quotes,printed them out and hung them on our walls. They are so cool :). At 5:30 I went and supper with Mike and a bunch of his friends. When I got back I was going to work on homework but that didn't work out to well :P. Mike, Jauan and I watched Collateral. Not a bad movie, it just made me angry who some parts of the plot played out. After the movie, Katie really wanted to do something and I need to fill up my gas tank for tomorrow so Lauren,Katie, Mike, Jaffar and I all went to Hastings. It was so funny because I actually knew what Hastings was and most of them didn't. When we got back I started on my homework but then Mike asked Katie and I if we wanted to watch Disturbia. I am not much of scary movie fan but this one wasn't really scary. It mostly just made me angry because again of how the plot was. It makes me mad in movies when someone dies that I don't want to lol. I learned today that we are never letting Mike pick the movie again. Now I'm back in my room and getting ready to go to bed because I have to get up and go to Jeff City for a YAC meeting tomorrow! :D. Brett didn't have much quotable quotes today. When I asked him if he had any he said "probably in the back of his brain." Well I better get to bed. Good Night!

Everyday I'm shuffling

Today it was kind of cold out. Cold enough that I had to wear a sweatshirt :/. I went to T and C this morning but forgot my slider which was due today for extra credit and since I haven't done amazing on quizzes, I could use the extra credit. It didn't last the usual hour and a half today so I had some time. Mr. Mitchell let me go get my slider and bring it to him thank goodness. Then I went to psychology which was so boring. She let us out early though! I met Sean and Russ for lunch and then went and put my photography alphabet the server. At lunch there was fried ice cream which was pretty good. This afternoon I came back to my room and watched the Big Brother finale while doing homework. At 4 Mike and I went to the Ab class at the Rec center. I warned him that the teacher was crazy but he didn't believe me. During the class, he was like how are you doing that so easy. By the end we were both tired. I went to supper with my friends afterwards. Then Lauren, Jauan and I went to the park so I could finish my photo assignment. We spun around on the merry-go-round and barely hung on. Lauren actually fell off. She was ok though. Then Jauan buried Lauren in the rocks. When we got back I colored for a little bit (because that's the cool college thing to do). Then Katie got back and we got ready for the dance of the decades. We both went as the 80's. The dance was alot of fun. They played Jeopardy first and even though Nora, Morgan and I weren't playing we still entered answers :P. They played party rock anthem I did the dance I learned and everyone watched me do it. They gave away prizes and had free food. I won some mini boxes of cereal :P. When we got back our friends came over and ate cookie cake. Unfortunately though I had to kick em out since it is almost 1 a.m. Brett found out that he can't come down this weekend. His quote for the day, "I'm as tired as Vince Vaughn looks." Today God reminded me that he has control of my life not me. I was worried that I was going to get a grade for the slider and he took care of it. He also reminded me that he has a plan and is going to make things happen when the time is right. Even though I'm so impatient and want them to happen now, he knows the best time.I look forward to seeing what his plan turns into. Well I only 1 class tomorrow and most of my friends have plans so we shall see what Friday brings. Good Night! 

Like Tom and Jerry

Katie and I didn't get to sleep till really late last night so we were pretty tired today. Katie's alarm went off this morning but she didn't hear it and me being the person who can not sleep through alarms at all woke up. I had to push snooze 3 times before she finally woke up to it. I went to my 9 am class. Then came back and was just hanging out in our room when Katie got a call that she needed to come downstairs and get a package. Her mom and godmother ended up being downstairs.It was so sweet. They brought her a cookie cake and balloons. I went to my 11am class and Katie worked on homework.Then after my class and she finished, her mom took us out to eat to Heroes. It was so much fun and very sweet. Our food took a while so we were late to class. We both wanted to skip our classes but we went to them anyway. We didn't even end up doing anything anyway in the class. At 2 I came back to the room and took a 2 hour nap. I learned a lesson today,never leave your door open a little bit while napping. Apparently both Mike and Jauan walked in to tell me something while I was sleeping. Later they are both, "did you have a good nap?" Later after I got up, we went and moved Whitney's stuff into Yaeter. Then we all went and ate supper. At 7 I went to photo society. Then met my friends for DIG after. We sang some amazing songs tonight.Well they are always good but I love when I know them like "the stand." Then we talked more about David. After DIG,we came back to the room and then went to late night at Ellis. Katie and I partoke in some more delicious cookie cake. I then skyped with Brett while random people came into our room lol. Some how we got on the topic that he is the cat and I'm the mouse. If I was gone then it wouldn't be any fun because then Brett wouldn't have any one to pick on. So basically we are like Tom and Jerry :P I was texting him earlier when Katie and I were out to eat with her mom and I was like I am in the process of skipping class but then I'm like I went to class anyway and he's like, "you are a goodie goodie rebel" Well I am going to get ready and go to bed, Good Night! :)

Goldfish me

Today was one of the craziest Tuesdays I have had in a while. This morning I got up and went to Freshman Seminar where we did an egg drop. My group's looked like a piece of candy by the time we got done wrapping the egg.It survived! Then I went to the dreaded Psychology test. There were only like 30 some questions and it didn't take very long to do. I felt like I knew most of the stuff on it. I met Sean, Nora,Russ and Morgan for lunch. Then Nora and I went to our small group. I love my CCH small group so much. Our book is great and the girls give me really good advice. After small group I ran to Walmart to gt a few things and some stuff for Katie's birthday! When I got back I texted to Katie to see if she was in the room and she was so I texted all my other friends in UCC but no one was in there room. When I came up the stairs I saw Jauan so I made him distract Katie in the lounge while I took my stuff to the room quick. I was able to get it in the closet right as Katie came back. Then I went with Kanadeia and did a study  for psychology. The lady who ran it is our teacher's aid/assistant and she showed us what we got on the test. I got a B which I thought I might have done better but I was disappointed with it especially when the highest grade on the test was a B. Hopefully she will grade on a curve so I can get an A. At 6 I skyped with Sam. Then at 6:30 my friends and I went and ate at Todd. We then walked over and watched a comedian in the morris building. He was pretty good, some jokes were a little to offensive for my liking but the majority of the time they were really funny. After the comedian Nora,Morgan, and Whitney went to walmart to get a cake for Katie. When they got back we went to work on decorating the room.Whitney distracted Katie in the lounge while we sat everything up. Katie was so surprised. Her birthday wasn't until tomorrow but we caught her off guard but celebrating the night before. We enjoyed cookie cake while laughing and throwing balloons at each other. After a while we went out to the lounge and just sat around talking and laughing for awhile. I think she had a pretty good start to her birthday :). Change of topic but Brett calls me a nerd although time so his quote tonight when I said that I had never heard that one before is , "You've probably heard it 64,000,000,323 times. Give or take 6 each way." Such a random number. I got my refrigerator and microwave moved into my room now. So now we have to fridges and 2 microwaves in our room. I made Jauan carry the fridge but when I got back I found out that the microwave seemed a little bit heavier. O well hehe.Our room is now covered in balloons and crepe paper but the memories of tonight last forever.Since I am being so random tonight. Today when the lady was telling us about her study,she was talking about how she didn't know how to study and she was so obsessed with grade and being as good as someone else. This made me stop and thinking about myself in college. I need to stop worrying about if someone is getting better grades then me or seems like a better photographer because the only thing I got to worry about is being the best I can be and exactly how God wants me to be.Well I should probably get to bed. Good Night :)O I almost forgot to explain my blog title. We were sitting in the lounge eating a bunch of goldfish and Katie says to Sean "goldfish me"lol.

Story Telling

I was kind of weary of what Monday would bring but I got up and was about get ready when I saw on Facebook that someone said there class was cancelled. I checked my email and my 9a.m. class was cancelled so I got to go back to sleep. When Katie got back from class around 9, I decided I mise well get up. I went to my photography class at 11. I am always overwhelmed by that class because we always cover so much information but at the same time I love it. Then I ate lunch with Kaci,Katie,Mike and Japhar. I went to my art history class which isnt to bad and found out that I don't have class Friday! After class I went and work on my assignment for Foundations. I made Dalton run but I couldn't figure out my focus but J.P. helped me though and explained it really well so I could actually understand it. Then I had Lauren do some cheer jumps and then Russ ran so I could take pictures.So that assignment is almost done which is good because my teacher gave us another one today. I then came back to my room and studied psychology the rest of the afternoon till supper. My friends and I ate at Ellis together. Then at 8 Nora and I went to Zumba.For some reason I felt sick while doing it tonight but then felt fine when it was over. At 9:30 my friends and I went to the dining hall again and ate some pretzels and cheese while talking. Liz brought random guests to the table and Katie,Russ,Sean,Whitney and I found that we are quintuplets don't ask me how. Russ wore a robe over his pjs to the hall and said that everyone was staring because I was studying. Somehow I was appointed mother of the group so I told my "children" a story of how we all met and are going to be crazy 80 year olds chasing each other with our wheelchairs and canes in the nursing home. I found out the Brett thinks he is a pretty good tennis player so we are going to play each other sometime. I am not great at tennis so we shall see how this goes. If Brett gets to come down here this weekend then maybe I will show him my secret tennis skills then :P. Brett's quote tonight, "im going to make it into your blog because I'm so amazingly amazing." I feel like I have studied psychology all day so hopefully I will do good on this test being praying for me tomorrow. 10 year anniversary

Of course everyone knows that today was the 10th anniversary of the Twin Towers so it was a pretty emotional day all across the country. We were supposed to meet at 9:23 to go to church but Katie and I accidentally slept until then :P. We managed to make it downstairs by 9:33 though which was ok because everyone else was late too. That is the fastest I have ever got ready.We went ate at our usual donut shop and then went to church. It was a very good sermon this morning talking about the anniversary and about converting to Christianity. We came back and ate lunch. Then we all spent the afternoon doing homework,so much fun not. I didn't do very well on a quiz because I studied what the professor said but the quiz ended up being over more. It bothered but I am letting it go now because I know I can't change it. I got to skype with Ashley and Nick for a little bit this afternoon. At 6 my friends and I ate at Todd. Then walking back, Whitney and Katie helped me find the last letters for my photography alphabet for an assignment. After multiple tries all day long, I finally got a CA to sign my paper and give me some keys to my room. So I am officially a resident of UCC. So I am pretty sure Brett's way of getting into my blog is now going to turn into Brett's quote of the day lol. When telling Brett how amazed I was at his multi tasking skills he said, "What can I say?I'm a pretty great guy that all your hot friends who like beards and multi-tasking drummers should now about.That seemed like a great blog quote/title if you ask this guy, this guy with two thumbs." bahaha.He is too funny :P.Katie and I just got done watching Sweet Home Alabama.Always a great movie. Well I am finally not stressing as much.For some reason I was just stressing about every little thing which is silly because God has got his hands  on my life and is taking care of everything. Well until tomorrow, later! By the way Kaci and I are plotting against Brett so if anyone has anything they would like to add to it.Just let us know because Brett is cracking an awful lot of jokes at us tonight.:P

Where were you that September day...

I am making a special blog post in honor of September 11.Since today is the 10th anniversary. It's weird to think when this event happened that I was in 3rd grade. Many of my family members weren't born yet and many major events in my life hadn't happened yet. On that day we were watching a movie with all the 3rd grade classes. The teachers were in the other room watching something and I had to ask them a question so I went in there. I remember reading the t.v. and wondering why it said New York got bombed. Then I saw the plane fly into the towers on the t.v. and figured it out. They weren't meaning the kind of bombing I was thinking of. They then announced over the intercom that school was getting out early. Since my mom was a teacher there I rode home with her. We stopped at the gas station and there were so many cars because everyone was worried that gas prices were going to raise. Everything was crazy. I remember going home and watching what happened on t.v. and my mom explaining everything to me. We heard that a plane flew into the pentagon too and my uncle works there. Immediately we were worried about him and trying to get a hold of anyone who could tell us. My aunt called us later and told us he was fine,he was in a different part of the building at the time. My mind races back to watching all the images of people covered in dirt and thinking about the lives lost and how those families were feeling. I remember that as the week went on there were flags EVERYWHERE and everyone was very patriotic. Never have I seen the country stand so strong together. Now it's ten years later and I am not a 3rd grader, I'm a freshman in college and I can't help but wonder how the country has made it where we are now. The changes that took place in 10 years. My heart aches for the lives lost but I smile at how a country can stand together. When I got on facebook I saw all the statuses about today and I wonder if sometimes we just copy and paste and don't actually mean what we are putting or its just a habit. O this is about September 11 I'm going to copy it. Don't get me wrong, I am not knocking anyone who did it. I just what us to mean every word we put on our status. When you look at the statuses know that every single person cares about what happened on that day! I would like for anyone reading this to just stop and take a minute and say a prayer for all the families affected by that day,all the fireman, all the police,the government, the president and our country as a whole. Last night I didn't get to bad until after 1:30 because it was so loud on my floor. I knew that was the last night I was staying in Ellis. This morning I woke up and starting putting stuff into bags to carry over to UCC. I ate lunch with my friends and then put them to work. I couldn't have gotten much moved without them.Thanks everyone who helped! After making 2 trips over to UCC from Ellis. We had almost everything out of my old room and I started putting it in its new place. At 3 p.m Lauren,Sean,Katie, Russ and I went downtown to take some pictures and so Lauren could get some art supplies. We did that and then went into the antique shop.There was so much stuff that we didn't have time to look at it all today. It started raining so we didn't get to take to many pictures. We then went to sonic and then walmart. Love my Strawberry-Watermelon slushes! After getting back from walmart, Katie and I went up to our room and finished putting stuff away. At 6 we went and supper with all our friends. In the dining hall there are some couches. Alex and Dalton were sitting on them so we all ended up sitting there and pulling up chairs to eat in a circle. I went ahead and went upstairs to get the wii ready for my Just Dance 2 party. All my friends came up and we had a great time. I won because I didn't have Brett to play against. After we finished playing we went over to Yaeter and watched Mean Girls and ate Kettle Corn. Before it started Morgan and Nora's CA talked about bullying and hurtful words. I said something about not using the r-word and they all agreed. I hope that I can do something whenever the Missouri day of stop the r-word comes around. Then Mike, Liz, Lauren, Katie,Sean and Russ came up to my room and helped me carry the last bit of stuff into my new room. Brett asked me how he was getting into my blog tonight and then he said "maybe if I woo you with my charm and cunning." So there you go Brett, I put your quote in here :P. Now we are getting ready to watch Toy Story 3.Good night!

What's inside the bag?

Wow so much going on on a friday! So I got to sleep in later because I didn't have class till 11. In Foundations we talked about where we were on 9/11, I mentioned that I was in third grade and a lot of people were like third grade?!? Then my teacher mentioned how his son wasn't even born yet. Then I thought about that, Zoe and Casen weren't even born and Zack was only like a year old. They don't even know what happened on that day and how that has impacted our country today. I will talk more about my views of September 11th on Sunday. I ate lunch with my friends and then went to my art history class. At lunch time Katie and I went and talked to the housing people about moving into her room. So I now how till Sunday to get all my stuff moved into her room in UCC. I was kind of stressed this afternoon because I felt bad for moving out but I wanted to be roommates with Katie. My momma answered her my call and made everything better like moms do :). At 3 Russ,Katie, and I went to the gym to volleyball with Sean who finally showed up lol. So all of us plus some other people played and had a lot of fun. After we started carrying stuff to my new room. We then ate supper with the rest of our friends. Sean drink some ice cream out of a cone and then ate the cone with no hands. I almost died laughing so hard. I want to make sure and mention that we ate supper with Whitney's roommate and suitemate because I like to mention the new people I meet. After supper my friends helped me get my carpet out from under everything and then put it in my new room. I now owe my life to them. At 8 we went to play games at Brad,the CCH minster's house. We started playing a new game like 4 times and finally settled on UNO. I tried some of Sean's coffee and it was disgusting. What was worse though is I thought there was kool-aid and had Russ get me some. It was actually iced coffee, even more nasty. after UNO we play Scrabble on teams. Lauren B and I beat everyone including Russ and another guy by one point! :D It was the longest, most intense game of Scrabble I have ever played. Even when I play with my scrabble guru grandma-its not as intense. We walked back and hung out in Lauren B's room for a while. We ate a bunch of junk food and watched School Of Rock-what better way to spend a friday night. Our junk food included trail mix of marshmallows, honey roasted peanuts, skittles and popcorn :P. On a side note Lauren B., Nora and I want to start a cheer stunting club because we miss cheering so much but are not tumblers. Brett is now trying to get into my blog every night and I think he is succeeding. We will see if the trend continues. Now I am back in my room-the old one just to clarify, watching FRIENDS because there has been a marathon every night! Good night, cant wait to see what tomorrow brings! I almost forgot to explain the blog title. Sean saw Katie's crackers when she was trying to get them open and he was like "what's inside the bag?"so random :)

Thursday already!

T and C was cancelled today so I got to sleep in and then we had a review in psychology so we got out a little early which made for a pretty easy day of classes. At lunch I was supposed to eat with a few of my friends but they didn't show so Jawan asked me if I wanted to eat with him. His friend came over and ate too and we had a great conversation about football and cheerleading lol. After lunch I walked to the union and for the 2nd day in the row, their machine was broken so I couldn't the central cash off my card to buy anything. I then went and worked on my photography assignment and studied a little for psychology. I started watching some videos on how to do the shuffle from Party Rock Anthem but it is going to be a challenge to learn that is for sure. Then Christen and I just chilled and watched FRIENDS-best show! At 6 my friends and I ate at Todd and then got see Nora's awesome dorm room in Yaeter. Katie, Nora and I went to Zumba which is always fun. We came back and then Katie and I met Sean to go play ultimate frisbee. They are all trying to get me to room with Katie at UCC and I want to but I haven't decided yet. Our team ended up losing in ultimate frisbee but we had fun hanging out and playing anyway. There were like 20 guys there and then Katie and I that played lol so we were a little outnumbered. After playing, Russ,Sean,Katie and I came back to my room and hung out and ate Mom's amazing chocolate chip cookies while I skyped Brett. Brett definitely got to hear how crazy they are :). Then somehow they wanted to go star tripping. So Sean shined the flashlight and Katie and Russ both got to experience star tripping. For those of you who don't know,there are variations,but the one we did was the person spun while looking up while the others said the alphabet and then when you get to z, the person with the flashlight shines the light in the person spinning's eyes. They are supposed to fall and that is exactly what Russ and Katie did.Nothing great about it but they can now cross it off their bucket list lol.Pretty great Thursday and now it's Friday!!Good night friends and family!

Wednesday- "rocked my socks"

Wednesday which means the week is already half over! Last night since I was so tired I went to bed at 9:45 and I slept through the night which felt great. This is probably the reason why I made it through all my classes today without any problems. Warrensburg tested their tornado siren and everyone got the picture within a minute that it worked.However, they wanted to make sure the whole world knew it worked. I ate lunch with Katie and we both tried some weird seafood pasta dish which ended up being not good. I quickly settled for a slice of pizza and bowl of cereal without out even making it a few bites into the seafood dish. After lunch, we walked around and went to the bookstore. After my last class, I worked on my photography assignments. I felt kind of goofy taking pictures and everyone staring as they walked by but hey got to get used to it. At 4 Katie,Russ and I went to Wal-Mart. A trip anywhere with these 2 is a riot :). Whenever we pay, we always try to give change to whoever is paying for their stuff. After we got back, I skyped Ashley and did some homework. At 6 Kelsey,Lauren and I went to the photo society bbq. It was pretty fun. Its always fun hanging out with a bunch of people who are crazy about the same thing you are lol. We came back and went to DIG. I love getting to have this time to grow closer to God with a group people each week. We are in the process of learning about David's life which is very interesting. Now I am back in my room talking to Brett on facebook which is where tonight's blog title comes in because we were talking about today and he said, "the early out rocked my socks." Today was a pretty great day so thus the title. Here's to tomorrow being just as good which it should because I only have my 11 a.m. class tomorrow :).Later!

Tired doesn't cover it

I'm blogging earlier then I usually do tonight because I will hopefully get to go to sleep earlier tonight. This morning I got up and went to Freshman Seminar. I like this class because we always do fun stuff and it gets out early. Our next assignment is a photo alphabet that I am pretty excited to do. Then after coming back to my room for a little bit I went to Psych.I am starting to like that class more then I did but we shall see. The cable was out until about 5 so there was no watching t.v. earlier. I ate lunch with Kaci and then went to my UCC small group. It was so nice that we decided to go sit outside near the Rec Center. Today's chapter was really good and I feel like I took a lot away from it. It was about how nonChristians say that because there is suffering, there is no God or not a very powerful one but in actuality because there is suffering it proves that there is a God and in the end we are stronger because of it. I compared several parts in this chapter to Soul Surfer so I came back and watched it. My favorite movie ever! At 4 Katie and I went and did the Ab class at the gym. Talk about a killer, the girl who ran it didn't give much time to rest in between. Then Katie and I decided to run/walk a mile. At 6 several of my friends and I met at Todd and ate. I was so brilliant as to want to do Zumba as well tonight. Then we did this stretch when it was over that allowed you to touch the floor after you do it. So needless to say I am wore out! I'm hoping that I will be so tired that I won't hear my noisey floor at midnight. Now I am just back in my room watch Parent Trap-a classic but great movie because the cable works again :) and am probably going to go bed soon if possible. Later!

Ain't No Party Like My Nana's Tea Party

This morning Roger came and got Zack and Zoe. After they left, I started on my homework,not fun :/. However Jon texted me and said that they were home so I went and saw Casen. He has grown so much,climbing everywhere and so giggly. I couldn't stay very long since I didn't have my homework done. Casen cried when I left which made even more sad to say goodbye to him. I miss him,Zack and Zoe already! So I came back home,finished my homework then Uncle Tim and Grandpa both came over. I got to visit with them for a few minutes before I left :). I packed the rest of my stuff up and left at 2 to come back here. The drive seems really long at parts but I made it back about 5:30. After carrying all my stuff to my room and went over to UCC and made fried kool-aid. It sounds better then it tastes lol. Well it tastes like you poured a package of kool aid onto the frying pan and then ate it. We figured out after a few mess ups what to do different next time. If we add more kool-aid powder then it will taste better. So after those we ordered some pizza-real food. We all agreed to chip in $4 but not everyone was there with their money so we scrounging up as much money as we could from the hall to pay for it. How many people can you pack into one day?

The fact that it's already Sunday makes me a little sad because that means I go back to college tomorrow. It is nice to escape the real world for a few days. Today I went to my own church for the first time in a month. We had to write down the top five desires of ours. I now have my list and will be praying over it. My daddy was so kind to make me grilled pork steak for lunch and momma made chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast.Two foods which I have missed so much! This afternoon I went and got Zack and Zoe. I missed them tons! Zoe made me an awesome poster that I can't wait to hang it up in my dorm room. Zoe is such a card telling me about how she tried to play "hard to get" with another boy in her class and she is only 8 years old. At 6 I went and met Hannah, Randie, Mary, and Brett and Buddy's and ate. They then came back to my house and we play just dance, crash bandicoot racing, and then watched a movie. For the record I did beat Brett at Crash Racing :). Zoe definitely showed off for my friends but it was so cute. When I walked into the living room, she asked if my teenage friends were still here. It's weird to thank I won't get to see most of my friends and family for over a month since October 1 is the next date I can come home. Now Zack and Zoe are watching a movie in my room before bed. So tomorrow I have a long morning of homework and then am leaving about 2 to go back and make fried kool aid balls with my friends. Good Night!I almost forgot, a friend of mine told me about how she told someone not to use the r-word tonight and her explanation why.She is still in High School and it made me feel good, like I made a little bit of a difference at Schuyler. :)

Dougie, Cat Daddy and the Shuffle

I got to sleep in this morning without any noisy people walking me up in my own bed! When I got up, I got to work on my laundry. No I did not make my mom do it :). I got to get into the pool for a little bit before it started raining which was probably my last time this until next summer :(. It was great and I have definitely missed the water. I'm going to have to find the pool at school. I was pretty lazy the rest of the afternoon and just watched movies. At 6 I went to Ashley's and hung out with her, Brett, and Jac. I've missed them so much! We played some chicken foot, apples to apples, and then watched a bunch of youtube videos. So many dance styles. My new goal is to learn the shuffle off of the party rock anthem video. We then came back to my house and played wii since Ashley's wouldn't work for some reason. Mine wouldn't come on at first which was really weird since Ashley's hadn't. I finally beat Brett at not one but two songs on Just Dance but he won the last one. He definitely showed us up on wii sports like always :P. This weekend is going so fast already. I'm sure tomorrow will be an exciting day too. Good night!

Home for the first time in 3 weeks

You know how on Christmas Eve you can't sleep because you are so excited for morning. That was me today. I was so excited to see my family and friends that I had a hard time sitting through class. I surprisingly didn't wake up sore from Katie and I's work out yesterday. I managed to pay attention through Foundations and then ate lunch with my friends as we all said our goodbyes for the weekend. Then I went to Art History which seemed so long. As soon as it was over, I made a mad dash to get the final things from my room and then to the parking lot. I prayed that God would make the trip go quick and no speeding tickets. That is exactly what happened. I made it home about 5:45. My radio station played good music the whole time and I managed to drive from Warrensburg to home just fine. Dad was the only one home when I got home. I was so glad to see him and my cats :). Mom wasn't home because she went to the hospital because Jeremiah, my cousin, Jenny's fiance, broke his ankle at school today. She is still there now so I haven't got to see her yet. Please be praying for a quick recovery for Jeremiah. I went to the Schuyler football game, they lost but I was glad to see everybody. I was especially excited to see ASHLEY! Now I am home again and it feels great. I see laundry, homework and hanging out with friends in the future for tomorrow. Good night!

Work that Swag

Today was a very exciting and interesting Thursday! So my friends found out that I have a blog so we were talking about it being made into a movie and who would play everyone. So Amanda Bynes is playing me, Sean- Mario Lopez, Nora-Reese Witherspoon, Kaitlin-Brittany Snow,Katie-Anna Faris, Whitney-Queen Latifah, Lauren M-Ashley Olsen, Lauren B-Jennifer Aniston, Russ-Will Ferrell, Liz-Barack Obama, Morgan who I just met tonight is Amy Poehler and her cousin Christian is Tina Fey, Caleb- Leo Decaprio, Alex-Zac Efron.This movie would be pretty great if it actually happened. I survived my first critique in T and C today.I was so nervous that I was going to hear bad criticism back but there was none! :D Then in psychology all we had to was  take a test for points not an actual grade because it was just to see what we knew. I ended up getting to come back to my room 45 min early! Then I ate lunch with my friends where the discussion of the movie actually started. Whitney felt that she should do something really exciting so that I will talk about her on here but guess what Whitney you made it on here anyway :). She gave me some great advice today as well as Nora and Katie and I look forward to using it. After lunch I went to walmart and got ribbon and paint so we could be school spirited tonight. Then Katie and I hit the gym. If I am not sore tomorrow it will be a MIRACLE! We ran a mile,yes a whole mile which I have never done, did over 150 crunches, and did some weight stuff.So tiring but that's ok Katie is getting me into shape. Later in the afternoon we all met and walked over to the "Get the Red Out." I got lots of free stuff which I was excited about. We took a picture in conan o bryans face in a photo booth and got it made it a button.They were great. Then we went and ate at Todd before we painted our faces. There were so many people at the game which was awesome because I love the school spirit. We found a spot to sit and enjoyed our first college football game.UCM ended up winning 49-24!Boom!When they scored a touchdown Sean was like "work that swag" thus my title for the night. We left almost towards the end to go eat late night but the dining hall was closed so Morgan, Christian, Lauren,Katie,Nora and I went to Taco Bell. Good times hehe. I hope I covered all the amazingness of today.I am so excited to go home tomorrow and see everyone. 3 weeks seems like forever! Well until tomorrow :)
